If you read your offer quote this is answered for you. Also you can live chat with CS on their site for questions regarding their procedures.

"Once we receive the item and it passes our inspection and authentication process, we will automatically receive it into our inventory and remit payment to you. The evaluation may take 2-4 business days once your item arrives. We will then mail the check or credit your account, and notify you via email."

yes but that is not always accurate if you look at what people have been saying.

Well then if you read the thread and see that some reported it takes 2-3 weeks to receive payment from the beginning to the end of the process and read the offer quote with BBOS's info (shipping time to get purse to them plus 2-4 business days for inspection plus time to process & receive payment in mail...which puts it around 2-3 wks), your question should be answered for you. I am sure it might still vary some from time to time (their wording even states 'may take') but no one can predict this for you. Heck, with USPS often taking longer than expected even ebay transaction have uncertain timelines....as noted in other threads in the subforum. When I used BBOS, it was faster than 2 weeks from beginning to end to receive payment.

I guess for those interested, either give it a shot and just tell yourself it will take about 3 weeks so you aren't anxious, or move on & sell your things on an auction site where you have better control over the timeline.

:goodpost::ps::urock: They are VERY up-front with how the process works. They are in business to make money, as all businesses are. I don't get the anger and complaining about them that I've seen in a couple of threads here. People are free to either sell a bag to them, or sell it themselves on an online auction site.

I was just posting in this thread to see if anyone had any insight on "other" reasons may be for them deciding not to purchase bags.... I know the bag is authentic and in BRAND NEW CONDITION (since they have bought many other bags from me in worse condition), so I was just curious... They do state clearly their process I am not trying to complain, so although I may be a little frustrated, that was not my intention

Okay, guys, I have put up my Gustto just a few minutes ago. Took lots of pics. Let's see how this goes.

That was a big joke! So, the customer service may have been really fast with the quotes, but it was so very low! 120 bucks or 180 bucks in store credit???? Are you kidding me??? This is a 695 dollar bag in excellent condition. I took the pics of the tag of the price too.

I felt the same way. Insulted was the words I used. I get what they are trying to do but it is not even an fair offer. I will stick to other methods. I have never had a bad problem on ebay but there is always that risk. At least now we all know

Feel lucky you got offered that much! I had a brand new with tags Michael Kors bag that retailed for $398.00, they offered me $63.00.
I wanted to :bagslap: them. I had just bought it for a good price from TJ Maxx, I had wanted to keep it myself but thought I could make a little $$ on it. Wrong. I ended up taking it back to the store after I couldn't get a decent price on eBay either. Oh well!

I just sent in pictures of my LV cream/red cherry blossom pouchette (99% brand new, i only used it once). I paid $400 for it and they offered me $150 cash or $225 credit(which i would not take the credit). Do you guys think I should just take the $150? I feel like it should be a bit more because its a limited edition, but at the same time it is a very small bag....and I have no use for it, and its so pretty but i need the $ more than i need a bag i will never use. (e bay isnt an option because i cant pay those high fees!)

thanks, i didnt even think of that! ..I just sent pictures to Fashion phile too, When i boutgh this bag i looked there and they had a few and they sold fast. As of right now they dont have any cherry blossom bags listed so idk maybe that would be a good way too. Im deff not selling for $150 now
