ahhhh. wow. do you happen to have comparison pics of before and after? that's really amazing...i love the low-hanging look! maybe i'll put some heavy books in my bag and walk around my apt with the shoulder strap on to stretch it...haha.......

I actually took my shoulder strap out and attached it on my PT yesterday evening too.. wanting to use it w/ the shoulder strap. My strap doesn't hang as low as hers.. but with constant use I'm sure it'll hang just as low. I have mine tucked away & detached from my bag most of the time.. so the strap is somewhat brand new still. It barely passes the bottom of the bag when I put it on. So I think constant use of the shoulder strap, it'll make it stretch and soften just like what the others have said.

Are you able to use it with the shoulder strap? Because it makes my bag sag in an awkward way, I’m also concerned that the bag being soft.. it’ll stretch and pull the sides up… so I end not using the longer shoulder strap. :shrugs:

that's exactly the case w/me! i think the bag is so broken in at this point that it's super soft...so if i use the strap, it pulls the two sides up and the middle almost just collapses into itself and sags like crazy. damn, should've used the shoulder strap to begin with so they both break in at the same rate! :push:

hMmm.... true true.. darn. Because at this point it would look only right if I wore it cross body with thin shirt or cardigan & not a thick sweater or coat. SO, I made the conclusion I should only wear the PT during the spring, summer, and fall over the shoulders. :push: Because having it hang from the crook of your arm hurts after awhile.

^^nahhh...the part time just sags awkwardly like that when carried by the shoulder strap...broken in or not. It's annoying...but I still love that size the best for me.

Not only does it sag, but it's also an akward length when worn by the long strap over the shoulder... kind of bounces out as you wear it. I'm too chesty for cross body, but the handles are still long enough for me to wear year round. By the way, my strap is a little longer than Craker's pics because it's a little more worn in.

Can somebody please post a picture of their straps for Pre-Spring 2005 City and Spring 2005 City? i.e. skyblue, teal, dolma (pre-spring) and turq, magenta or apple green for spring? Pleeease? and measure just the leather portion? :flowers: Thanks a bunch

I am throwing this question out in every possibly applicable thread and I am checking everything pertinent: What is the comfort factor of the GH Brief worn over the shoulder? The handle drop seems so little and most of the pics here show gals wearing it on the crook of their arms. I would definitely want it as a shoulder bag but as I am six feet tall, I am hesitant to 'go there' without some info. And yes - the smartest thing would be to try some on. Difficult when there aren't any bbags nearby.
