It seems everyone has the DE canvas Neverfull. I usually see at least two ladies with it each time I head to the city. That being said, I have two Neverfulls- DE and DA.

Getting a dior next as I prefer I be a bit different. Dior has beautiful bags as well!

My only ‘embarrassment’ from carrying designer bags/purses is that I might be seen as snobby by others. I don’t live in a poor area but I wouldn’t say it’s designer-ridden so actually Neverfulls etc are not everywhere for me. I Would probably prefer it if they were everywhere!
Same. Im in the suburbs and I dont see designer bags everywhere....HOWEVER I always notice ladies carrying LV at the grocery store, Lol.

I dont carry much so If im out and about Im usually more comfortable carrying my DE P.A

I only see ppl wearing LV bags near the LV Store lol but honestly you shouldn’t care what others think or what others are wearing. Main reason why I don’t have any Instagram anymore, I really don’t wanna know what others are wearing, only what I like and what fits in my collection!
i also own a NF DE and i Love it!

I can't remember if I have already responded in this thread, lol. I don't see a lot of NFs in my area, but it would not bother me if I did. I am not going to stop wearing denim jeans because every other person is wearing them, lol. The NF is certainly more mainstream than most other LV bags, but it still is a great bag.

Almost all designers, contemporary or luxury, make a tote. Many materials are used from cloth/nylon, to leather, or canvas. I like canvas because it is easier to keep clean and is lightweight. Leather in a larger bag is always too heavy for me. I have the MM DE, and it is easy to carry and durable which works for me :)

NFs are not common where I currently live (I've seen maybe 4 other women in my community that have one) and it never bothered me when I lived in a large city either. It's a casual workhorse of a bag that goes with everything and the DE version is carefree in any weather, so thumbs up to all of my NF sisters out there!
The only thing I would be embarrassed of is if someone thought I had a better-than-thou attitude or, worse yet, actually did have an attitude; bits of overpriced canvas and leather do not define who I am as a person or make me anymore basic or special than anyone else.

I always have Neverfulls because as soon as I sold them I miss them had to go buy them again, rarely use them though :graucho: right now have three after had just sold one set. And I think you are right, almost everyone buys Neverfull or speedy as their first LV bag, my fist store purchas was a mono Neverfull too

I believe LV tried many times to use a new design to retire Neverfull but haven’t been successful

omg we are the same. i mostly have about 2 neverfulls in my collection and there are those months where i am on a declutter mode and wanna clear off bags that i hardly use (neverfull included) to make space for new ones. and every time i sell, i find myself searching for it again. my biggest regret was selling my catogram version and it took me almost a year to finally find a set again. now i tell myself not to touch it no matter what!

neverfulls are just great for too many reasons and thats why it remains as the top few lv bags in our collections.

I am so enjoying the various answers to the OP's question. My quick response, No. Just like it doesn't bother me to see people driving the same car, wearing the same pair of shoes or see a similar home in the same community. Would your (our) view change if we walked into a room and noticed several celebrities or elitests carrying the Neverfull? Would the bag be so common then. I'm sure some of our reactions would be quite different.

I have 9 brothers and sisters, and several friends that make up my social circle. Not one of them wears 'luxury' handbags so it's not that common from my perspective. Enjoy some of the things you love and because life is unfortunately cut short in this crazy system of things.

Call me what you want, but isn't she beautiful??

It is true that many people can't afford life necessities, it is true that LV is a luxury (that's why it is called "luxury" - it is not affordable for everyone) but there are also people who work hard and who deserve to spend their money in the best possible way THEY (not me or you) can think of. Money is just a measure of the effort and the hard work someone did, money is meant to be enjoyed - they are not the evil, they are a measure. I'm quite happy to help other people but I'm not willing to spend 10-12h/day working for someone else, who is too lazy to educate, learn, work hard...

Because of all above and because I believe that every person is responsible for their own life, I do not care what people will say and I do spend some of my money on luxury, aka useless, items :angel::angel:

What a stunner!

I don’t own one because as a handbag it doesn’t work for me. However, I would love it as a shopping tote - ie the tote you carry in addition to your handbag or pochette to carry non handbag stuff - but the fabric lining is what has prevented me from getting it. All my fabric totes have gotten dirty inside very quickly given how I use them: groceries, beach, essentials for a day out. I would love a NF with the lining in coated canvas for easy maintenance so I can finally get a durable luxury tote that I don’t mind getting dirty!
