For a rougher night out, like dance club or concert, I have used my Violet First and this works out fine!

I voted for the First. As a day bag, it's nearly too small for me (my essentials just fit in there without much wiggle room), but for going out at night, it is a great size if you're taking less.

I have used a city for night out, but it was way too big and it got in the way.. lol

The first seems to be first choice, although the city is not far behind. I'm surprised the twiggy isn't polling better -- too large perhaps?

To all first owners, can you fit a light sweater into the first as well as, you know, wallet, phone, tissues, camera (perhaps), a bit of make-up ... ??

i vote for twiggy because i don't own a first : ( if i had one, i would say a first.
but i think the clutch is the greateast for going out dancing.

I voted First. Small-ish, but still a lot bigger than most evening bags. It holds all my essentials (AND bf's too!) just fine.

Any colour will do really and it looks very cool worn with the strap IMO.

If I'm going dancing the Mini Classique for sure b/c it doesn't bump into anyone and stays on the shoulder even when jumping around.

If I'm going out to dinner and a concert or movie I like the First b/c it's sexy and cool.

I vote first as well- in black is a classic. Love it!!

drati, I can fit my wallet (which is a bit large, it's the money wallet), and then a cosmetics bag (about the same size as my wallet) holds my make up, hand sanitizer (yes, always have to have that), etc. That actually stuffs the purse pretty full, and then I can fit in my phone and keys in. If I downsized to a smaller wallet, I'd be able to fit more. But I really don't think a light sweater would fit, unless you wanted it to be really stuffed.

Sometimes I drape a light sweater through the handles or over the bag when I use the shoulder strap. But then you have to worry about losing your sweater. Still, the first is my favorite for overall looks- it's so perfect! I swoon everytime I see a first.
