Omg what a day….sorry u had to go through that..next time bring an iPad or pass him ur mums phone to watch you tube…or some pen and paper to draw…your SA…I’m not impressed…no wonder u prefer to buy online…So I was today in our store here, and it seemed to have some problems with my appointment. My SA probably did made a mistake. We should have an appointment around 3:30 pm - we arrived around 10 minutes too late but I did notify my SA about that. When we arrived my son and me the security told me that my SA is still on the break (wtf?) and will be here around 4 pm. So we waited around 20 minutes at the door while my boy went totally crazy and I didn’t took a stroller with me. Glad my mum was there. Then around 4:05 pm a couple appeared and they also had an appointment with my SA. I was quite in shock and didn’t understand what was going on. So my SA did choose the couple instead of me and we should get another SA.. at that point I was already very upset and I’ve told my mum if we need to wait another 5 minutes we will just go. Just Right after I’ve said this we got another SA. She was actually friendly and showed me the bumper on strap for iPhone 13 Pro (iPhone 13 does not fit) but the strap is so pretty and I does work with the speedy 20!
I sadly forgot my airpods so I couldn’t try the small pouch.
after that I’ve tried another shoulder strap (that I’ve actually also bought) - will post pictures tomorrow!
Then I’ve tried the empreinte PSP and it is sooo tiny but does work for everyday but the shoulder strap was such a deal breaker to me - it was just too short! I couldn’t wear it crossbody. So I’ve also tried the nano Noe but the shoulder strap was also too short.
There was a women with a dog inside the store and my boy was happy to play with him for a few minutes. But then the women wanted to go away and my boy started crying and screaming. So I’ve paid and wanted to leave but before I left the women from the reception came to me and asked me if I could go out with my boy - I was actually speechless. After around 25 minutes inside the store I left. With a very bad feeling.. I will probably never go again to our local store again..

Hi ladies…
I haven’t been too active as my girl caught covid from sch last Friday (first case in our family) when I got a call late morning to go pick her up…she went to the “covid” section in sch as she had a sore throat and feeling hot/cold…I just got a shock had no idea what to do so had to go get her and coz my nephew (same sch and class) lives with me had to get him too…so sil and fil drop us…
And the fun begins….took a rapid test and the T line was faint (ironically she was due to take her second dose that same day and hubby went to take his booster) so he was coming home and we all went to take a PCR nearby (first for hubby and I) got negatives for both of us that evening via text but daughter got positive next morning…but we isolated her since we came home…she’s a trooper lucky she plays a lot of Roblox so she’s happy to be stuck in her room. She mask up..we mask up when she comes in our room coz we share the bathroom…so much going on…gave her food on paper plates and cups and medication…she’s the minority of kids who wear masks to sch and she caught it….she had piano lessons that morning and when I text her teacher she replied her two kids (in same school as her)also tested positive the night before…so many questions but it’s already happened…
Rule here is to isolate for 7 days since the test taken and take another rapid test on day 6 if negative can leave the house after isolating for 7 days..i miscounted and tested her on Monday..wrong move..very dark lines….so heart sank..never had to use so much Glen 20, antibacterial wipes , washing my hands so many times until they crack and wear masks at home…but today is iso day 6 so I decided to test her…after she gave me the stick I was shaking she said “mum relax”…and it came out negative..I gave her the thumbs up but should have waited until tomorrow coz she can come out of iso on Sat.. anyway one more day and she’s free and can go back to sch for 4 days lol and it’s end of term 1….I had to hand wash her clothes every night with gloves..I’m so tired..we all are and negative rapid test is the best news so far for us and rest of the fam bam tested negative..
Looking forward to hugging her and also our staycation next week. Cases here have gone up due the new B2 variant..when will it all end?

Sorry to hear about your daughter, wishing her a speedy recovery! My daughter caught covid at school at the end of January and a few days later hubby and I tested positive too, such a nightmare! Luckily our symptoms were mild, but I agree it seems like it's never ending right now with cases rising again!

We do what’s right but it comes back to bite us..hope they bring mask mandate back..I still wear when I’m out..

I’m so sorry to hear that but so glad and happy for you that your daughter is negative now and the rest of the family is negative too. When I read your post my heart sank and I knew you had had a very long stressful week! I can understand your worry, concern and also the tiredness as well. But most importantly she’s better now and well, so you can hug her and she can go out of iso. 
Lucky it was a speedy recovery and also for you and hubby being persistent and wearing masks at home protected you both.I know what you mean by cases going up. Down here it’s jumped to 24k a day and so many people have Covid. It is scary but with restrictions all lifted the government wants us to learn to live with it. I guess in a way it’s a blessing your daughter caught it last Friday and one week this week iso, so after you can go on your staycation and enjoy it.

I still wear my mask also but I think I'm in the minority! In the UK all the covid rules have been relaxed, people who test positive don't even have to isolate anymore, it's just ridiculous!Thank you for the support dear!

It was super stressful I couldn’t concentrate fully on work as well but it did keep me occupied. I’m so lucky I am able to share this here and so grateful for the support. Yes you are correct that on the bright side she got it before we had our break..I am pro mask though but I think due to low vax rates for the kids..I reckon the bulk of the numbers are from them…but it’s their parents choice..so scary seems like another wave but everyone is living life in new normal now…
