Mine didn't want to pick it, I think it would've been overwhelming for him with all the choices! Since I picked it out myself it's easier for me to change my mind since it was my choice originally. I'd like to think if he surprised me with a ring I'd love it no matter what since he picked it for me, but you never know...

I'd love to see it, I'll have to look for it later on. The side pave is so awesome, I love to just look down and see bling!!! The more surface area that sparkles the better IMO!

Well, what happened here was she and her fiance picked the first ring out together after they have talked about getting engaged. And I can see how some people would be happy with whatever they receive, but women these days are very much more vocal and want to be considered equal in the relationship (as we should be), and not be told to sit quiet and look pretty. A woman wants what a woman wants, and we deserve, after all that we do for men, to have the ring that we want.

Dear Friend: now that I can see the pics, I do like the first one better. The prongs are a little strange, but what bothers me the most is you cant see that its a cushion cut. It makes it seem more round, unless the pic of the second ring is a round cut? Also, I dont like how the band tapers in near the stone.

I just hope that your fabulous fiance wont get upset...

Oh! but I'm so very excited about the bridal expo tomorrow!!! Fun fun fun!

Thanks for the feedback too! It does look round even though it's actually cushion, weird huh? I need to try to take a pic of the sides, I swear the prongs look like forks from the sides LOL.

I'm super excited about tomorrow too! (Especially the CAKE samples LOL!)

Aw thanks sweetie!! it's a 1.5ct.. but it looks a LOT bigger because of the setting and I have small fingers so it looks a LOT bigger! (i am a true 4.5 but had it set in a 4.75 so i can wear during pregnancy and swollen fingers someday!)

I got my ring yesterday so let me take more pics and upload them on the engagement section, perhaps u can get more ideas from mine.

i wasn't picky with my ring actually, went to a place, tried the settings they had, chose one from that and added a stone.

now that i think about it, I wish i had been more picky and chosen something more like urs, i love the little tiny stone that u can see when u look at the ring sideways

I would have guessed 3 ct from the pics!!! The setting makes it look huge! Good idea to get it sized slightly bigger too!

Cool I will check them out!

I love that tiny stone too! There is a juicy couture necklace and keyring I got before I even got engaged that looks almost just like it, same kind of design.

I can't wait to get my first ring back, I really miss it!
