Okay finally got to try one on!! Snagged a few modelling pics (not great ones, sorry!) at the store before sending this beauty on to some other lucky girl... I have to say after all the hype, and for that price (I think it was $2300 for this one?) I was so underwhelmed by the colour! It looked much more "gumball" and less "ethereal" than in the ad pics. I did love the FEEL of it, the aesthetic of all that heavy, rounded silver and turquoise... it's very cool. But honestly looked at it on my hand anyway and thought I'd be just as happy with a $100 faux ring, kwim? For how much I'd wear it... just not worth it. Excuse the crappy iphone pics - I just wanted to grab them for you guys!
Anyway for whoever gets it I'm sure you'll love it! I could definitely imagine myself playing with it all day - but it's very heavy and I don't know, didn't look like a $2300 ring to me?

ya me either...i think you made the right choice surfergirl. it doesnt look like a 2300 ring, i would rather spend that on a platinum and diamond ring anyday!!
It's a cute ring, but like you said, not for that price.... I rather get a diamond pendant for that $$$.......
I think it is attractive, but I would prefer to put the money towards a tiffany diamond/gold ring.
I received my Elsa Peretti cabochon ring, in green jage and silver, at 850$.
At the begining it looked a bit big, but now I got used to it, because I wanted it so badly, since I saw it on the web 2 years ago. I mean it is not possible that I don't like it, as this is the ring that I was searching the web for, after it was discontinued 2 years ago.
It is beautiful, the stone is amazing and the silver too, it is like they are built from the same piece of material. The jade is dark green and with waves that I could watch all day long.
I wear it almost all the time, I do not wait any special occasions that might never come. I just wear it with jeans and sport shoes and whatever I want.
I suggest to not wear it with any other piece of jewlery, especially other jewlery with gems, also do not wear it with colored nails, as it is colored enough and big enough to drew the attention towords itself.
After I got it I was searching the web to see what other people are saying about it, and I was dissapointed that you did not like it, I almost wanted to return it myself.

It is opulent and chic... I deserve it, I want it, I like it...
