I think you can post them here with the corresponding story as to why you think they're PITA so that people can make a decision as to whether or not to block them. It's been done on this thread before
Ah, all right--well since this buyer does dabble in some high-end purchasing/selling, here goes!
lcbaby32183 purchased some 7FAM jeans from me in a pretty hard-to-find style via Best Offer (rigid Havana wash, but bootcut, if you're familiar with the older 7FAM styles. You might know that bootcuts are much harder to find than the flares, so many people don't realize they even exist). She gets them and swears up and down that they are men's (probably due to the rigid wash and what she thought was an exceptionally long rise--8", which is the same rise on all my other items in that size!) because she can't find documentation that the bootcut was also offered for women. I point out, very patiently, that the initial letter of the style number, U, is ONLY found in women's jeans, and I provide documentation from moderators of the two main denim forums where they'd addressed that question for other members. I also advised her to join the forums and pose the question about that particular pair so she could get verification from a moderator.
She thanked me for my advice, but then a week later, she filed a case on me, saying she had taken the jeans to a boutique in her area (and we all know that boutique salesgirls are completely clueless--that's why you can always get fakes at Nordie's! She had also promised me she would be going to the forums for verification...) and a salesgirl there told her they were men's. I told her straight up that the evidence I had from the forum replies would result in me winning the case, so I gave her the chance to close out the case herself before I would escalate to a claim. She then agreed to return the jeans and pay shipping both ways, essentially admitting (finally) that I was right. Within a day of this I got a reply from 7FAM's customer service (whom I had contacted with some pictures of the jeans--not really expecting a reply, though) verifying that the jeans were actually women's, and I forwarded this to her, after which she replied "you were right! Thanks so much for working with me!" and, at least, she seemed kind of apologetic. Meanwhile, Ebay/PayPal are not permitting me to give her a partial refund (I include "free shipping" in my listings, so I was only giving her 60.00, rather than 69.99) so I called PayPal, which ended up being a more than hourlong call with both PP and Ebay, before an Ebay rep had to step in and manually provide the full refund, then reverse the "outcome" so I could get my original shipping back.
Now this week, I find out that I've lost my Top Rated Seller status because she had filed this case (which was my third--the others involved a pair with a factory-flawed uneven inseam and the aforementioned buyer who didn't realize the pkg was at her post office and tried to file an INR). And of course, I haven't received any fb from her, when frankly she should be leaving me a glowing, a**-kissing positive for dealing with her.
Basically, this buyer attempts to conduct "research" on the items she buys, but allows herself to be completely misled, then she goes off on you based on the wrong information she got off the internet.
Edited to add: looks like she is also a banned member of this forum! lol! (under the same username)
