eBay Non-Paying Bidder List

TPF may earn a commission from merchant affiliate
links, including eBay, Amazon, and others

^^ After 4 days you can file a dispute for non-payment. After another 4 days if the buyer hasn't responded (or paid) you can close the case which then leaves a strike. By following this process you also get your final value fees back.

I have spent a LOT of Q-time with NPB lately :bagslap:

roxxna: Item 140401471880

Her: "Hi I'm the winner of this bag, could you mark it as gift when sending it? Because I would have to pay more than $100 at the custom. It is over my budget. If not, could you sell it to me at $700? I really like this bag, but it is way over my budget after customs. Please take this into serious consideration, thank you very much."

Me: "As stated in my shipping policy, I will not declare for lower value. I'm sorry this is out of your budget, but I'm unsure as to why this is an issue now rather than when you submitted (and I accepted) your best offer?"

HUGE pet peeve! What is wrong with these buyers? Read the entire listing, and don't BID if you cannot follow/agree with buyers terms! Really is that so difficult? Reality check, if the price of a bag is over your budget, DON"T BUY or BID on it! Save enough money and perhaps down the road you will be able to afford it and feel really good about not being in debt and earning it outright.

Won an auction on (4/3) and after a couple of days told me her paypal was compromised and would be sending a money order. I waited waited and waited, till I filed a NPB dispute and closed it giving her a strike ... Today I checked her feedback and saw that she had purchased an identical item to mine.

I have no problem with buyers changing their minds (before shipping and paying for an item), but at least be honest. She made me wait almost a month and not even tell me that.

230455784915 tomyum367 - Wouldn't respond to my emails - never heard a word after the auction closed.

230455770249 madelline7 - Asked if I would wait two days for payment, I agreed, never heard from again, no answer to my emails.

Bid on my Chanel red lambskin jumbo a few hours before the auction ended. (she was the second bidder).

I woke up this morning to a message from her that said she wasn't going to pay because she thought it was a maxi. The bag was listed as a Jumbo and the measurements included in the auction are the size of a jumbo. No where in the entire auction did I mention "maxi".

Ironically, she is an ebay "Top Rated Seller" who buys and sells a significant amount of Chanel. When I suggested to her that she should follow thru with her ebay committment to me and consider reselling the bag, she told me to give her a NPB strike.

I did send a second chance offer to the other bidder but it appears she does not want the bag now.

So I was forced to relist. Ebay item number 140402228226

I've had a couple of people do that after they've paid and I've ignored the request because I clearly state in the auction that I don't alter the price of an item on customs forms.
