I would think EBay would remove that feedback, wouldn't they?

E-bay only removes feedback if personal information is posted. Otherwise it stays.

No, they remove for other reasons, as well.

Can you give me a for instance? I'm a power seller and have had extended conversations with e-bay reps about this subject.

I realize I may have inadvertently hijacked the thread. My apologies.
Carlpsmom is correct.

I think she's referring to the buyer who negged and made reference to winning the case.

Saying " eBay decided in my favor" is disallowed and if the seller reports the feedback, it'll be removed.

Been on Ebay since 1999, and this takes the top prize for most inconvenient non-paying bidder experience, so I'm posting it here.

I was selling this item to fund an end of year trip, and this person completely wasted my time. They seemed enthusiastic about having their offer accepted and then completely disappeared. I opened a case a few days later and emailed them every day, asking if we could please just back out of this sale because I was on the hook for $100+ seller fees and needed to relist it if they were not interested. I was not interested in giving them an unpaid item strike. A few days later they resurface and tell me they were in a terrible car accident and that they are typing on their phone, but will pay me tomorrow. Tomorrow came and went, no payment. I had to wait until Ebay refunded my seller fees to end the transaction.

This person could have been truthful with me, but I was nearly killed in an accident last December, and if by chance they did lie to me, I just want to relay my story in case other sellers run into an issue with this ebay user.

Won my Rick Owens dress (bid 1 day into the listing) -- 3 days after auction end I get a message that they didn't read the listing correctly about the size, could I let them out, claiming it was "a rookie mistake". I look -- they've been on Ebay since 09, and bid on day 1 of a 5 day auction with a Buy It Now option (I'm assuming because they didn't want to risk losing the dress to someone who would Buy It Now). Measurements of the dress are on the listing, I point this out and tell them I need to file an unpaid claim or I'll have to pay the fees (Dress sold for 139 + shipping) -- they should let me know so I can relist it.
This morning, I get payment. Could be happy ending … could be beginning of trouble no? I've never had a buyer get strange with me about an item where I couldn't resolve it … what happens if she gets the dress and files a claim saying it was misrepresented in some way?

Not sure where else to post this but eBay user auburnmix is using stolen photos and text of high value items in two of their listings. BEWARE as not sure what they would actually be selling. Already reported to eBay but listings are still up.

She got really mad and nasty with me after I opened a NPB claim when she did not pay for an item for 3 days. She left me neutral feedback because of the NPB claim. She ended up paying, but I still wanted to warn others.

Placed the minimum bid on my Chanel purse and won it but never paid or communicated with me.

Also noted that prior to the auction ending, she placed numerous bids on other Chanel purses located in state of Washington.
