this user emailed me asking to retract a bid on a pair of gucci flats because she didn't read the size correctly (even though it was listed in the auction title, description, and item specifics- three different places!!) and basically was completely unapologetic.

I wrote her back and stipulated that the unfortunately the bid was binding and sent her the ebay policy link. She then decided to retract her bid as "entered wrong amount", even though she admitted over the message that she did not read the listing. I reported her to ebay and she now has it marked on her record, but figured it wouldn't hurt to put her name in this list as well because it is a flagrant abuse of the retraction/buyers protection.

I just have no patience for these users that can't be bothered to read the item description!

Prajeshmilton - item # 230858298896

Admitted to bidding on a number items at the one time then taking the best deal once the auctions are all complete. I opened an unpaid items case through the eBay customer service centre and he still refused to pay for the item he won.

09noel2601 ..makes an offer and when I accept, she claims something came up, wants to cancel the transaction!!

butterfly162912 --negotitates, negotiates best price, and makes a best offer, only to retract it a day later..

SELLERS BEWARE these are tirekickers!!!
prestwick - thanks so much for mentioning butterfly. this user has contacted me repeatedly about buying a purse for significantly less than i listed for my auction and buy it now listing. did butterfly retract the offer after it was made? how did you deal with this situation. id like to know how to deal with it myself if i ever run into this situation - although i wont be dealing with butterfly since you mentioned your experience.

what is the best method you ladies use for sending someone a luxury purse once they've purchased and paid for the item? i want to be able to track the package and confirm delivery with a signature but i also want to send the purse within 24 hours. what kind of shipping methods have you used and what has been the best experience in your opinion.

I've been using Fedex Ground. It's cheaper than Fedex Express, and if the person is close has been getting there the next day. I live south of Philly, and pkgs I've sent to MD, NY, NJ and Conn have been getting there the next day. You can set a declared value and if you want a signature or not, also can track.

Bid 30 minutes before the auction ended, no response to invoices or messages. She has 15 feedbacks but is at a 0% because her last purchase was in October of 2010.

Called Ebay CS to get her contact info, tried her phone number and surprise surprise it was an invalid number- reported, although I doubt Ebay will actually do anything.

It seems they do nothing. I filed a no paying bidder for a bottle of perfume I sold. After 3days I sent her an invoice and an email, nothing on her end. Contacted EBay, and no idea what they did if anything. I gave a secon chance offer to 2n highest bidder and she paid right away, thank goodness. I listed an authentic LV bag, woman with over 20 positive feedback wins it. Did same thing. Meanwhile, she is bidding and winning everyday since she won my auction. I check daily. No response from her.She should have paid for the bag instead of all the items she has bought, no idea why she bid at all.

This buyer butterfly asked me through My Messages if I would accept an offer for xxxx amount, and I told her yes but she needed to make a formal offer. She made the formal offer, and within 1 day wrote me saying that she wanted to retract the offer as "something came up". I did not accept the offer immediately because i knew that there was something here. If you are serious about buying, you make an offer that hopefully will be accepted ..you don't ask if it will be accepted. If you want it, and you can buy it, you proceed from there.. I accepted the next lowest offer which was almost the same, only for that buyer to reneg also...

I've been having some trouble with non-paying buyers lately here are a few of the recent ones:

1. bella.gurava (#110959456231) bid on the item and never heard a word. Looked at her info and has a feedback of 0% and also is in Russia (I do not ship internationally anyway)

2. katiegracefsu (#110950617559) No communication just did not pay. Did not respond to messages. Has a feed back of 2 and both comments show that she was a good buyer.

3. jkie26 (#110948843425) Made an offer. I accepted and no response. I made efforts to reach out, sent invoice, message, etc. and no communication whatsoever. Has 100% feedback of 50.

4. eileenxjj (#110944625221) Paid near the end of auction but never paid. Her feedback says 100% and 30 entries but when you read them it is all similar stories that she had bid right at the end and then is never heard from again. Location says Korea and I don't ship internationally

Kenzi, sorry you are getting all these NPBs lately! Have you gone to your Buyer Requirements (located under Site Preferences when you click your My Account tab) to block buyers in countries to which you don't ship? That will block international buyers from bidding on your auctions.

Thanks I didn't know that! I don't sell very often just when I'm cleaning out my closet so I don't know all the tricks of the trade ;)

Edit: please hold off on putting 516debf on your block lists, they finally responded after I opened a case and sent a bajillion messages- not sure if a potential scammer or just super flaky..
will update as things happen..
