I'm really confused. I just sold a dress on Ebay, which got quite a few bids in the last few seconds. I think 20-something bids all in all and 14 bidders. Literally THE last second, a girl from the USA bid and won (i'm based in the UK).
Seconds later, she sent me this message "hi i am letting you know i will be able to pay for the item within a couple days. i feel uncomfortable paying right now as I feel $74 is a little too much considering the extra $24 for shipping but i guess i will pay that...i am in U.S."

What the heck!? She didn't have to bid! She outbid the last person by £1! What do I even say to this (lol)! Is she trying to get me to reduce the price??? I'm scared to reply incase she thinks i'm rude and won't pay lol.

Won a LeSportSac bag for a lousy $14.99. Never paid, never responded to my invoices/emails or Ebay when the case was opened.

Waste of time & money since I had about a dozen other watchers at the time....

what a relief :):)

Item:251149506735

Buyer won an auction for $75 item, no payment in the first two days, I sent msg kindly reminding her I will ship within one day of receiving payment. Almost on the 4th day, received one sentence "I don't want it anymore" with no reason given, nothing more said. I went through with the cancellation and hoped everything is ok, never heard a thank you or anything. Maybe my expectations of people are too high :( but I'm sad to meet people like this..................

Bonanza Buyer aware: annbiggar

This is my message to the Bonanza's team in regard to my case:

To Whom It May Concern or any Bonanza's representative that bothers to read,

With all due respect I would like to express my disappointment with Bonanza's chosen method to handle buyer dispute and that is something I have rarely if not, never experienced before when I was selling on ebay.

Therefore, it is my utmost regret to inform you that regardless of how the case is going to turn out, I have decided that ebay is where my heart truly lies and would swear on my "damaged" sandals that never again to betray its love for other similar sites(no worries, I have already unsubscribed my membership and will remove the booth shortly =D). I guess me and Bonanza is just not meant to be (no hard feelings). As much as I would like our relationship to work, it just happened to me that you do not care about my welfare as much as you claimed to since obviously you have failed to notice several issues in this case. Even though I am positively heartbroken and would like to skip class in order to mourn for our fail relationship, I have no intention to turn myself into a head case and truthfully as a seller I have never tried to scam my customers and have always tried my best to be as helpful as I can but this particular incident has rendered me faithless in your part.

Maybe it is my mistake to take on a completely new buyer (with no prior selling/buying activity at all), I am not sure...but I would like to bring several points to your attention.

First, I do find her accusation quite absurd. According to her paypal refund message:
"The shoes you sent were unwearable because of the stain imbedded in the right sole. I was unable to see this damage before purchasing because the stain was covered with a patch in your photo.
This is not a matter of wear and tear. The shoes were ruined.
I expect a full refund for this damaged item."

The shoes are "unwearable" because of the "stain" in/on the sole? From the photo she uploaded, I have come to suspect that the stain is actually glue residue because it is where the sticker (most likely one of those security sticker to prevent theft in store) located on and that "stain" can be easily removed with "goo gone". But then why would she said the "stain" is "embedded" in the sole?
(which by the way, I found it extremely amusing that a "stain" on the sole has "ruined" the sandals and turn them into "unwearable state" because *gasp* the stain on the sole bites? Can someone please explain to me how glue goo on the sole would "ruin" and "damage" the sandal? Please pardon my corny humor.)

For that question, I would also like to bring your attention to her offer message:
"I bought this shoe new at full price in my regular size, 6. It was terribly uncomfortable; an expensive mistake. I am going to gamble that a larger size will be more comfortable, but I don't want to spend too much. The shoe may just be uncomfortable. Thank you for your consideration of this offer. Annette"

From her message, I have extracted the following information:
1. She owned the exact sandals in size 6 and was unsatisfied.
2. She would like to "GAMBLE" that a size 7 "will be more comfortable".

When I combined the above information with her alleged "claim", I have drawn the following conclusions:
1. She tried on the size 7 and they are uncomfortable as well but she cannot return them due to my final sale policy.
2. Conveniently when she removed the security sticker on the sole she has discovered the "STAIN" (which still looks like glue residue to me) and believe she can use that to her advantage.
3. File to return for refund and once she succeeded she will bid farewell to Bonanza as "annbiggar".

I may be a bit paranoid (since I totally believe in conspiracy theory) but it occurs to me that "annbiggar" would probably abandon the account once she received her refund...and (not that I am complaining about the state of the product) left me with my original "undamaged" product that I will make sure to "eradicate" the glue residue with goo gone (LOL).

Not that I am trying to be an ungrateful and scheming seller but I feel so much better to let out those internal yelps. I will not object (and would gladly) to refund "annbiggar" if the sandals are really damage and unwearable but this does not seem to be that case. However, if Bonanza has ultimately decided that the refund is justified and I must comply with its decision......then I will just process the return and issue the refund and buy myself a lesson.

Cheers,
Your truly pissed and heartbroken ex-seller

Ladies, I need your help.

I have a bidder, who bid on and won my TB Heels for sale, but has not paid for it. It has been four days, and payment was due in 3 days. With my first invoice, sent after the auction end, and the second invoice sent yesterday, I said to her that if there were any issues with time needed for payment, she can tell me and I will grant an extension. With the last invoice, I also suggested if she didn't want the item, to please let me know so that I can relist it. I haven't heard a word. I feel like I'm in limbo because I REALLY need to sell these shoes asap!

What should I do now?

TIA!

I feel your pain! I sold 9 items last Fri. 7 paid before days end, I sent invoices to the other 2 with no luck. Finally I sent them both emails yesterday that they would be turned in as non paying bidders. One finally paid ( and she had good feedback, 250+ positive ) still have heard nothing from the other. Why bid if you aren't going to pay??? I don't get it.

Made an offer on my BIN / MO Prada purse. The offer was a bit low, but I've had it for a while, so I accepted. Fast-forward 24 hours, she sends me a message saying she wants it for $100 less than the offer I accepted! So now I'm out my fees and still have the purse :(

Open an unpaid item case via the drop down menu all the way to the right of the purchase under "awaiting payments".

Oh man! I'm sorry you have to go through this too. I mean, I've forgotten abut items before, but if I ever get a message, I ALWAYS respond and keep it straight. I don't understand why people ignore their messages, this isn't middle school. It's very rude.

Thanks so much!

I get one of those every now and then and usually with a little investigation find out they are bidding on many things at the same time. The last one I had actually purchased five handbags in one week so what I did was to write her and tell her that I try to treat people how I want to be treated and tried to appeal to her sense of decency and it ultimately irked. I kept daily appealing to her conscience and eventually she paid. What bothers me so much Is that no one forces them to bid!
