I'm sure that Ebay kept you busy through a rough time when Beau was sick. It does help to be busy during a rough time. You definitely established a good business very quickly! Impressive! I am starting to see how stressful it can be. I prefer when buyers communicate and can get a feel for them. I feel better about a sale if I have had a positive interaction. But you're right, the stress of protecting yourself and your reputation begins to make you question if it's worth it any longer. I've been on eBay for a long time, but I'm not a large business. I just select pieces that I am no longer using and are still nice enough to put up for sale. I've been looking into consigning, it is much less, but may be worth it. Once they take possesson, you're done. No complaints to be had. I think if more sellers that had a large business like you left, Ebay might be inclined to protect sellers a little more. Thank you again, I appreciate you sharing your experience.Thank you. Yes, dogs are the best. I actually started selling on eBay when Beau my dog before the one below was sick in 2014. It gave me something else to focus on. It helped a lot because it took so much time and energy. I sold over 300 items many high end in a 6 month period. So I had my share of crazy buyers. It just got more and more stressful with eBay doing so little to protect sellers. I hated feeling so helpless in protecting myself and my reputation that it wasn't worth the time and energy. I now send my things to consignment. I make a lot less but there's very little stress involved.
