I read something somewhere about not being able to have your best video if you don't do your first video. (Something like that, I'm sure I butchered it.) The point is obviously you have to get started and learn as you go. I think one of the excuses I'm using is I only have my Samsung Galaxy 8 phone, no vlogging camera. I don't want to invest in one until I get started and I see how it's going. But I know the quality of the video is as important as the content.

When I've come across Sample bags at a Dooney outlet or sale they are often
a wonderful treat. However, sometimes they aren't 'finished', so you really need
to look them over carefully. Sometimes they have no interior pockets.
Sometimes they are unlined or missing zipper closure or trim you would expect
on that style. Sometimes they are perfect, just done in a unique color or leather
or even with different dimensions.
And sometimes they have the word SAMPLE stamped boldly on the inside.
If you look the bag over and you still want it, then it's often a winner.
The challenge is not to 'assume' anything in advance. Most often sample
bags are not returnable.

LJ again I thank you for your photo of your large domed satchel. I love the look of it. You called it an old lady bag but I call it classic. i like the look of the handles on i. I hope it’s included in the upcoming sales. I don’t remember seeing it at the outlet, but I have hope it will be there.

on fb somebody posted a pic of her trip to the outlet. I’ll try to attach it. She showed a sample table with many many bags… and guess what I spyed on the sample table in that picture? A Tilton crossbody on the sample table…. I am obsessed with that bag….

Thank you. I'm glad to have another opinion on the look of the large domed satchel.
I really do love satchels and have many Dooney domed satchels. In pebbled leather,
the zip zip was made in a rainbow of colors, and I collected 'many' of them.
There was just something about the black/black large Flo domed satchel that
struck me as 'old lady'. I'm allowed to say that because I'm one!
I'm happy that someone who is younger can look at that bag and see the classic
lines and beauty of the Flo leather.... despite the sagging and wrinkling.
Both the handbag and I share these characteristics.

@mushroomNgrass D&B outlet should move to the Rosemont outlets. They’d probably get a lot more traffic.

Really adorable handbags. I'm glad they have more capacity than the name would
indicate. The width of the base is probably the key reason. Enjoy your new treasures
and the one that is on the way.

New in Florentine leather. It's been around in pebbled leather,
saffiano, ostrich, and some Dooney logo coated cotten/canvas
for a few years. There were also versions where the side
zipper compartments opened from the top, rather than from the
zipper placed and inch or two lower. And there might have been
versions where the center compartment was zippered and the side
sections had snap closures.
It has been available in several sizes in the past in these other
collections.... small, regular, and large. Not all options in all collections.
I've been tempted to get the large in the pebbled leather, but it's
a heavy handbag in that size. Small is adorable, and not really small,
but not big enough for me. Florentine might be tempting at the right price.

I've been tempted to get the large in the pebbled leather, but it's
a heavy handbag in that size.

How heavy are we talking? Have you tried it on?

I have the forest one added to my cart. I love everything about it! The structure, the size, handles and strap.

It gives off a retro vibe, 1950s-1960s era handbags. And also gives me a hint of the vintage Essex Carrier bag.

The only thing though, I wish it fully zippered at the top instead of the magnetic closure.

Small is adorable, and not really small,
but not big enough for me.
