Sometimes Dooney does 'unique' designs for QVC...
sometimes it's a tweak of a standard design (old or new),
maybe a different size or a different leather,
sometimes it's a design released on QVC before general release,
so it's 'exclusive' to QVC for a period of time. Often QVC
gets more colors than you will see elsewhere.
Over the years we've been able to learn a lot about Dooney
bags from watching QVC presentations as they often have
a Dooney rep on the show. I don't think the level of detail
we get now is as good as years ago, don't know if that's a
marketing decision (by QVC or Dooney) or just different reps
with different levels of knowledge and presentation style.
But, you learn a lot more watching the presentation than just
reading an online description. It also helps to have the
QVC web site to see the item description. Just note,
the way QVC and Dooney measure bags is not always
consistent. They seem to be more in synch now, but
in the past they used different methodologies and were
measuring the bags in different places and in different
ways. It could make a huge difference in unstructured
bags like hobos.

Thanks for posting these. I usually don't keep up with qvc. That first one is this navy - the one that's heavy. Pretty, but heavy even empty. The handles are different tho.

I love the red Toscana line. I have always loved the side zip Toscana satchel in red, but I know I need top zip bags. Despite that, I'm tempted when I see one on Poshmark or Ebay. Fortunately it's rare to see red so I'm not tempted often.
My red bags act like that a lot! Both are beautiful! I hope you get them cleaned to your satisfaction.
My florentine red pouch crossbody arrived over the weekend. An ILD sale item. $298.00 on sale for 89.99. I paid for shipping, which I do not like, but I did not need anything else.
The bag had a few leather "scar" marks on the back of the bag, but I am overlooking due to the price.
I purchased as a bag to carry within my large bags (cosmetics, tissues, credit card wallet).
It fits in my larger D&B bags and I get another small crossbody. All in all, my recent good sale items from ILD have been a win.

I was so tempted by one of the Alto small pouches/bags/accessories (not sure what
to call it). Under $100 and in some tempting colors. I'm trying to sit on my
hands. I've done enough damage this week ( 4 bags ).

Thank you! The openings are like the openings of the reg flo satchels, but it will take longer to get the top to fold over (to smile). These two appear to have not been carried long enough to soften up where the fold should be.
