Thank you. I think Im spoiled by the size of the large Florentine satchel. I glad I got this small to try, before my outlet trip. This is a nice size to have in my collection. It looks so much bigger on tv lol

G.Allyn: I use mesh makeup brush protectors (bought on Amazon or Ebay) to
tame and protect my tassels when the handbags are not in use. It helps keep the
fringe together and tame any fly-away pieces. Of course, some people like to
play with their tassels and that can contribute to a more well loved and fluffy look.
I might pet my handbags and enjoy the feel of the beautiful leather, but I don't
fuss with the tassels.

I saw Pecan Tanned Beauty's video on her well deserved gift from the team. I loved the tassell combination of the natural and brown tmoro. It came up as pre order (I swore I would never again ha) so i thought hey i wont get it anyway :). Wow I got it so fast!

I don't know if I can justify keeping it as I have a Natural Florentine Logan but it's really a comfortable strap on your shoulder.

I feel so bad this was sent to you! So much stress when it should be an enjoyable experience. Hope you find something you love so much elsewhere at a wonderful price to make up for this bad Dooney experience.

That woven detailing is very unique. You clearly loved the bag enough to order it...
despite what you already have in your collection. If you can swing the cost remember that
one special handbag a better wardrobe 'investment' (not $, but style-wise) than 2 or 3 just
average ones. It's so much easier to buy a few less expensive handbags, that are on sale,
than to pay a lot more for a bag that is truly special to you. Maybe you can keep this treasure and
then to to 'ban-island' for a very long time out.

It's funny. Have you ever loved a bag at first sight then it started to wear off? Not sure if I'm headed there with this one yet... I do love my Logans and I never thought I would. I loved the Hattie but it just didn't work for me. You taught me to prioritize function too. I can say this one is easy to carry so far! I think I got excited seeing something different with a tassell lol.

At any rate I'm definitely heading to ban-island soon :)


I know when it's time to take well learned advice here of packing it back up. I will see with this one in a few days. You are so right though. Think of all the bags I did get that didn't last or I was eh over before I found my Florentine love.

That's a great question! I think with the new tassell drawstring I'm glad it's in the back so it doesn't take away the simple beauty of the design. I will be more careful with this bag and not want to scratch it up too much in front. I reach in and out of the front pocket of the Logan alot. The front zipper pocket is a more casual look maybe? There isn't feet on the Logan and I didn't like this bag until I got one. It's shape is much prettier filled. I don't feel I have to baby it at all even without feet.

The bag I do prefer the zipper on the back is the Russell.

I would agree the front zipper gives a more casual feel to me also. They both look so divine in your pictures! I can see why it’s hard to decide on what to do!

Sometimes when I can't decide whether to keep a bag, I pack it up ready to return and then
put it aside for 2 days. If I feel relief that it's going back, then I know I should return it. But if
I want to unpack it and look at it again, then I know I will be sorry if I let it go.
