Sometimes when I can't decide whether to keep a bag, I pack it up ready to return and then
put it aside for 2 days. If I feel relief that it's going back, then I know I should return it. But if
I want to unpack it and look at it again, then I know I will be sorry if I let it go.
That's right... now I remember the boxing up to return or unpack process. That really helps! More so I think than wearing it around the house.

The bag is back up in price to $468. Maybe I'd better count my blessings lol. That was a good sale.

Wondering if they will start to bring more colors back. I did see a pink florentine barlow and the ivy is back so hoping more to come! I am done with Natural for awhile. I'm set :)

Seeing the pictures of your new drawstring got me excited and rushing to log into my Dooney account to see if my drawstring shipped too. I also ordered on sale (about half price) on a pre-order. A while back they had other colors including navy, chestnut, black, and ecru. Navy was my first choice and natural my second. With the great price, I jumped on the natural. It looks amazing! The best features that drew me in were the braided drawstring and the handle. The other colors may come back but I think I will be happy with the natural judging from your pics. Thank you for sharing and I hope you keep it and love it.

OK ladies, now I have to check out the Dooney site so I can start stalking until the price comes
down enough. Maybe it's a good thing I missed that sale. I would have bought that drawstring.
Lately I'm obsessed with drawstring handbags.... even though the style is not the easiest for me.
It's the look that attracts me.... it's classic, yet fresher than satchels (my go to style for functionality)
or totes. I have started a rainbow of colors of Dooney drawstring handbags.

I’ve never owned a drawstring bag, although I agree they look adorable!

Drawstrings are like a cooler version of a tote.... they hold a lot of stuff generally.
and if you have some organization (pouches or a handbag organizer insert) you
can see and find your stuff. And unlike many totes, the top of the drawstring can
be closed (mostly) so stuff doesn't fall out and is not exposed.
For me the downside is the carry.... most drawstrings are shoulder carry...
it adds to the cool and casual look. But I need to hand carry all my bags,
and the longer straps do make the bags seem heavier to me and less comfortable
to carry. The sacrifices we make for handbag styles we love!

Very well said about the sacrifices we make for our bags lol! I may see a drawstring in my future… they sure are pretty

I saw Pecan Tanned Beauty's video on her well deserved gift from the team. I loved the tassell combination of the natural and brown tmoro. It came up as pre order (I swore I would never again ha) so i thought hey i wont get it anyway . Wow I got it so fast!

I don't know if I can justify keeping it as I have a Natural Florentine Logan but it's really a comfortable strap on your shoulder.

Copies and inspired by and dupes and fakes abound....
we've all seen them for Dooney vintage 'All Weather Leather' bags,
Dooney logo bags, Dooney Disney bags, and now Florentine !

No matter how you feel about these bags... morally, socially, politically, financially.
or fashion wise..... BUYER BEWARE if you are buying preloved.

And we are even seeing stories of genuine high end bags being bought from
the brands stores (or high end dept. stores) and then fakes being returned
in their place. And the stores aren't catching the switch! Then the store
resells the returned bag as genuine.... and it's not.

Some brands and stores are adding extra security tags and microchips to try
to address the counterfeit bags issue.

I’m sure the PU leather would definitely give it away. My goodness they return fakes to the store and they don’t inspect the return? You would think a sales associate would know their products… OR ARE THE FAKES THST DAMN GOOD??? I would be very upset to go into the store and get a fake. Unbelievable

Apparently it's happening in really high end lux brands boutique stores and in stores like TJMaxx and dept. store high end brand boutiques. We won't even talk about returns by mail. It takes a lot of skill and time to detect some of the super fakes (apparently) or even the decent ones. And with rare exception, I'm not sure the staff has the training or the motivation.... in boutiques they get paid to sell
and in dept stores and warehouses, they are just handling transactions/boxes.

Over the years, people have often complained about the condition of a handbag they bought online...
expecting new and perfect, but sometimes getting a bag that was obviously used. We ask, don't they
check the returns before sending them out again???? If they can't see obvious damage or wear,
how can they even begin to detect better fakes?

Sad world that some people engage in this kind
of theft.
