Does the color of your purse really matter? *question

For me, it's mostly about the style of bag I need rather than color. But I did buy a bright red Longchamp a while back and I also want a dark blue bag back in my collection. During the dark winter months I seem to gravitate towards bright colored bags and, for summer, I even carry patterned designs (which I don't do any other time of the year, ever). So I guess it's 50/50 between style/color.

I agree with others that the style and material of the bag matters more than the color. I do not personally wear my burgundy bag in the summer because it's a big heavy pebbled leather. But I would wear a burgundy bag made from raffia, if such a thing existed.
