Does anyone notice your authentic LV?

People rarely give me compliments on my LV's. Even the compliments have stopped on my mutlicolor speedy.

As much as I love LV, they are everywhere. Unless you have a new or unusual style people just look past them.

Oddly enough when I carry my Isabella Fiore hobo's I get tons of compliments. They only cost me about $500 each but you don't see them everywhere so it turns heads.

I'm curious to see if my new LV monogram Mizi will get compliments. You rarely see those. Or will people assume its a fake and say nothing?.......

who cares. I love my bags. :D

ouuu, LV Mizi....I would def. compliment you!! ;) (Because I'm secretly jealous). :p

I'm one of those people who notice your bag and will say something to you. It's just a wierd compulsion I have.I never go up to people on the street or anything, but I've had plenty of my patients come in carrying a nice bag and I'll always compliment her on it.The way I see it,women carry these bags TO BE NOTICED! If they weren't georgeous art forms, there wouldn't be so many people making fakes.I don't freak out or anything, but I'll usually say something like "that is a beautiful handbag".Alot of times it strikes up a conversation, and I've come to know alot of our patients that way. There's one woman in particular who promised she would leave me all of her LVs in her will (I'm sure she was kidding, but it's become sort of an inside-joke).

Oooh, now I WILL go up to people on the street to ask about a bag. No problem with that. When I was into Coach bags I saw a girl with a bag that was not out in this part of the US and asked her where she got it. She said in CA, so I called up a store in CA and got that bag flown out!!!! Now, if that were the other way around, I would take it as a compliment if someone did that to me.

I carry LV for me and no one else (well maybe for my hubby as he loves LV on women and NOT on men). Very few of my friends know that I collect LV and I'd rather it stay that way. Those who do know never ask if they are authentic. I do notice fake LVs carried by other women and I secretly laugh. Even hubby points out the fakes. If I saw someone with an authentic LV that I am thinking about buying, I would not hesitate to go up and ask about it. We authentic LV lovers gotta stick together!

I don't have mine yet, but I notice real ones more and more. I saw a lady in the grocery store with an Ellipse Petit Modele that had the most beautiful patina. It was perfect! I never really liked the shape before until I saw hers...It's all so terrible because whenever I see different ones, it only makes my wish list longer.:shame: :D

Probably a bit off topic: my dad's comment on my new speedy: "that much money for a plastic bag" (meaning it isn't leather) :/

OMG, my dad said something similar to that, "$390US for a used bag?" Then I replied, "Well it's less than the thousand dollars you've spent in the last six months on used watches." End of conversation!

One of my guy friends picks on me about the prices of my bags...I just say to him: "Hmmm, and HOW MUCH was that Les Paul guitar??? That's right, I win."
