I totally agree with y'all. I don't care if people think my bags are real (for the most part). When I'm in a metropolitan area I'd almost rather people think they're fake. I sometimes worry about getting clocked on the head for my bag. It also makes me feel bad to have my friends know how nuts I am to pay that much for a bag.

LOL I do that too! I always try to protect my bags when it rains :p

Where I live you hardly ever see LV so I have noticed people looking. I was at a friends house for a charity function and my Recital was sitting on my chair when I went to get a drink. When I came back I noticed one of my friends petting it. :D

I don't wonder if anyone is looking, and I don't care what other people think about my bag. I know it's real, so that is all that matters to me (like others have said). But I do know that people sometimes will get a weird look or compliment, so I was just seeing if anyone had any stories.

The question I asked was a simple question, it has nothing to do about what I think, it is to see what reactions other people get w/ their bags. The question is based on pure curiosity....what is wrong with curiosity?

I took my new Speedy 30 out for her first outing yesterday for brunch with my brother and hubby. We went to a predominantly asian area and yes, I got lots of looks as my Speedy walked by. She would have waved but I told her we had to go:laugh:

In Minnesota, there aren't very many LVs, real or fake. I have noticed, however, that mine really get noticed.
In the land of "Minnesota Nice" most people say something complimentary about my bag!

i dont really notice if people know or not. i think that they will notice its a quality bag, but no one discusses it. but of course, my friends do becuase i do have a problem with shopping :)

People have asked me before if my bag was real. I say yes. One girl at the college I go to told me she gets her bags at the flea markets, she said their so much cheaper than the store. I just smiled politely and said oh I know they are. However, her bag looked about 3 shades lighter than mine so next to a real bag is how you can really tell the fakes.

I think that's the reason I haven't brought alot of LV b/c everyone has one on their arm and I personally can't tell. I know this harsh I pretty much try to size up the person carrying the bag and then I go that's not real. I remember I was in NY at the LV store a girl came in with a bag said she got it off of Ebay and the SA told her in front of everyone that her bag was fake. I was like OOOOH! that hurt.

No one says a word to me about any of my bags...no one except folks who know I carry authentic bags. I see so many of the fakes around it really turns me off. A couple of "friends" bragged on what great fakes they have and what a good price they got for them. That turns my stomach; I'm always tempted to give them a lecture but I haven't done it yet.:amazed:
