hm i never really thought about it - people do ask me from time to time though. my guy friends (esp my bf) gives me so much heat about spending so much money on bags - saying the things they could buy with that money, i hate it! :suspiciou

I really don't care... I know I have the real thing and that's enough (besides, all I have is Damier and it's still - at least here - not so common in the "fake market" that, believe me, it's booming among young girls in Amsterdam :sick: )

Only my family and people at work knows its real. It's funny when I'm out with my girls(my children) they always look at LV's. To spot if its a fake. Its kinda like a game. I think people that carry fakes assume every one has a fake. They don't know better. Althought it depends where I am in town. I imagine that someone that knows or has a real LV can tell. All that matters is that I know mine is real and poor things that walk around thinking they have a real one. I don't make it a point to look at others but my girls do and they tell me, Mom she was look at your bag ...wondering .

With my first LV-Ellipse it was amazing. Everyone seems to stare on it! Even my boyfrind said so. After a while I did not recognize them anymore, but I watched myself looking short on other bags. Most WERE fakes!!!
If one was not the person seems to say in its eyes: "Hey! Nice bag! You are a tru LV-lover too:nuts: !"
And of course the shoppeople know exactly that I am carrying a real Vuitton. They changed to very nice persons now:evil: I hate such people.

Where I am living the people have got money and thats the one and only reason why nobody has ever asked me, if my bag is real or not, although I am just a student and very young:smile1:

People around me know my bags are the real deal. I have one guy friend that is alway making remarks about how much my bags cost and teases me about it but i just laugh it off. My one g/f makes a point when i get a new bag and carry around the male friend to inform him how much the new bag costs.. again I laugh it off and chalk it up to being jealous they cant purchase one. ( this is the g/f that owns a fake wallet and theda)

Otherwise i've never been asked by a stranger but i do notice looks and giggle.

People notice my LV (I guess) but not on whether it is real or not. There was a saleslady who commented about how beautiful it is just last week.

Personally I don't really care if people think otherwise about the authenticity of my bag. Well, if they dare to ask me then I'd ask them to sniff the leather... LOL** :laugh:

Its ridiculous here. I see some of the absolute worst fakes I've EVER seen. I'm talking about the ones we laugh at on ebay kind of fake. People here carry them like its nothing. I get sooooo agrivated b/c I know I've paid the prices I have for the real thing and other people spend what, $40 and walk around like theirs is the real thing!

I was out the other day and this girl actually looked at my bag and smirked!!!! :mad: Bear in mind her bag was plastic with those orangy handles.

Its so bad here I honestly wonder if some people really know what an authentic looks like.

Here where I live, authentic LV bags usually catch a lot of attention, since they're pretty rare.

This doesn't usually bother me, but last week, when I was at my doctor's office, lady doctor was literally staring at my Shirley, while she was answering some of my questions. This made me fell so uncomfortable, that I decided not to wear this bag next time I go there....

I don't notice if people notice my bags or not. I'm not too observant. I've had a few SA's comment on them when I'm purchasing something and digging through my bag trying to find my wallet. I don't really care what people think because most of them don't know enough about LV or any other brand to know if my bags are real or not. Like others have said, I know it's real and that's all that matters.

Believe me here in Vegas I see pretty much everything when it comes to bags, real and fake, and believe me when I carry any of my bags people know that they are real because I notice the jealous stares like they should have the bag instead of me. I even had people follow me when I would carry any of my Vuitton Multicolor bags. I have never ever had a bag so much hated on than the Multicolor bags, especially my white Speedy. So many jealous women (and men, too!) I would be like "damn it's just a bag! if you want one that bad do what I did...SAVE YOUR MONEY!"

The SA at the Coach store told me my speedy was beautiful while I was purchasing a scarf. She was the only one who has ever commented on it besides my friends and family. One of my friends was cracking up b/c it started to rain unexpectedly one night, and to protect my speedy I put it in a plastic CVS bag. He was like, you have a $500+ bag, and it's in a five cent plastic bag!
