its soo true, only ppl who are close to me know that my stuff are real.. but i must say ppl from where i live they give u this really nasty look, and check u out from head to toe if u r using designer stuff.. personally i think wht they do its not nice.. totally cant stand those ppl! =(

PERFECT sense. I feel the same way! When I feel good about myself when I wear something, it does reflect my look and attitude. Especially when I buy a new bag!! :love:

I know that if I ever carried a fake bag I would feel weird inside and wonder if everyone was staring at me or something..and I would feel cheap..

The reason we all have this gut feeling is all because of those sellers selling fake LV bags & people buying them & carrying openly without any feeling of shameness!!!

I received a lot of stares at my LV when I'm in public since I'm still young. Now, the only way to stop those stares is to dress up in designer clothes and drive my BMW.

I am not sure. I get asked a lot if my bags are real.:wacko: I guess you are right, there are SO MANY fakes:evil: :sick: out there that people automatically assume that yours is fake too.

We aren't saying that's why we buy the bags....everyone on this forum truly loves fashion. If we didn't, why would we waste our time talking about it?

Actually, I feel it rude to stare at somebody's LV just to find out if it is authentic. If I see a piece that I like, I just comment to the owner that it is a beautiful bag. Unless it is an obvious fake, especially those off color MC, I am that good at spotting a fake.

I KNOW that's not the reason why you buy bags, but if it truly isn't, then you would never notice anyone looking, or wonder if anyone is looking. I'm saying you wouldn't be conscious of it. And it looks like some people are. Who cares if anyone "notices" our authentic LV. 90% can't even tell the difference. I guess what I'm saying is that by asking the mere question of "does anyone notice", you would be contradicting the statement that you buy a bag just because you like fashion. Obviously, you're noticing other aspects of the bag other than it being a fashion accessory.

Where I'm from and where I frequent people are pretty well off so most of the LVs are authentic. There are also a lot of young students with LVs so people don't give other people weird stares or anything (unless it's a blatant fake, which I have hardly seen).
