Does anyone feel like VCA is everywhere now?

I think it depends on where you live and the type of content that you consume or are exposed to. It used to be buy it and then wear it. Now it is buy it, take 4 million pictures and videos, post to different platforms, then wear it. And in some cases, return it.
I will never stop preaching “buy what you love and wear(and afford)” so there will be no remorse.
Just like Hermes, I like VCA for its design, history, class and craftsmanship. I couldn’t care less if it is popular or not.

At ballet Saturday couldn’t help scoping out everyone’s jewelry, ate at home before the performance so no dinner sample. Shockingly saw no Cartier. I saw two vca pieces, one VA pendant and one 20 motif, both mop. I was again shocked by the amount of Chanel out in the wild and had also forgotten how much less "dressed" people get for ballet than opera. Definitely saw more tennis shoes than bling

I'm in favor, but after spending just two days actively looking would be a little paranoid to take photos, especially in this climate of people having a bit more fear of their personal space/safety because I think that would be even more noticeable. I was trying to be subtle when checking people out but am sure I failed a couple of times when people noticed I was looking at them!

After a second thought, you’re correct. If someone got close to my neck or ears I’d be a little freaked out.
Wrist if I’m walking? Sure. Face? No no.

It has to do with the fact that their designs are extremely limited. They want to remain exclusive by not making a lot of different designs, but it's defeating their purpose. I honestly believe, if they had several colors and designs, the brand wouldn't feel that "common."

i tend to see a lot of let’s say VCA-inspired pieces, precisely because how prevalent the look is on certain SM accounts. But I also randomly see authentic pieces on people while waiting for the bus, in line at the cashier, on people crossing the street opposite me, etc., which always makes me excited! And yes, it’s usually Alhambra pieces but once I was surprised with the perlee transformation necklace on a very chic shopper at Dolce Gabbana, which inspired me to finally get it.
I am in Hong Kong.

I live in Boston and I have seen less than 5 people wearing VCA in the past year? Maybe it's because I live near BU & NEU so there're LOTS of undergrads in this area, or maybe it's because I rarely go outside  however the love bracelet is everywhere, have seen it multiple times in my apartment elevator, some going solo and some going love stacked:P

I live in NorCal and never see VCA. I've only had a few people say they like my jewelry who actually know what it is. Most other people
say, oh I love the clovers or the the flowers (my frivole ring).

What's funny is that my husband knows exactly what it is and when he sees someone on TV wearing it, he asks me babe, is that Van Cleef she's wearing? lol

Before my VCA addiction I didn't know what it was either. I remember seeing the VCA boutique in NM but I never went in because I couldn't afford designer jewelry at the time. Once I got some inheritance VCA was the first thing I bought and it's been a slippery slope since then.
