Does anyone feel like VCA is everywhere now?

These kind of people need to get a life. Why it bothers her so much is beyond me. This is the kinda person who also says men shouldn't cry or show emotions probably 🙄. It's just a piece of jewelry!
I love to see men wearing VCA. I have an edgier style, not girlish at all. I love the Alhambra motif because the geometric shape gives me art deco vibes, I don’t see it as particularly feminine. The bracelets usually fit men more snugly also, and I do think that a dangling bracelet is typically seen as more feminine, but a fitted bracelet is unisex.

I've never owned a VCA piece (we can discuss why later), but when I saw this in the "latest posts" section, I had to throw in that here in LA, I see plenty of it, but Love bracelets still far overtake VCA. When I do see VCA, it's always Alhambra, and yes, I do think Alhambra is a little mundane given how it's been so widely duped. But VCA as a brand, overall? No. There are too many beautiful things for me to feel that way!

In my opinion… It’s because they can’t afford it and therefore attack the men who can. It’s a 4 leaf clover, since when was that masculine or feminine? It’s a leaf which resembles luck. It’s such a shame that masculinity and femininity has now dumbed down to jewelry.

I like the six motif gmop necklace that I have. It’s light weight and I wear it a lot traveling. If I got more VCA, it would probably be buton d’or. There is Lot of VCA and Cartier mixed stack on NY’s upper East side. If there is any doubt, one can simply have lunch at Avra or Bilboquet and see various renditions :)

When I was growing up in the 1970s and 80s, VCA was already very well established. I also vaguely remember the big four scandal due to Tiffany, VCA, Bulgari, and Mikimoto sending empty boxes out of state so their well heeled clients could avoid tax.

The weekly NYT print box ads for VCA, Cartier, Bulgari, and Mikimoto, if any one remembers those, were all geared towards an older, more conservative clientele. I believe this was when Hermes was on 57. There was a large dunhill store there too. What’s old is new again, and bigger than ever due to social media. I have no doubt that private school girls in NY * wear their moms cast off VCA pendants or evelyn TPMs, or get something for their own special occasions.

If I like something, I like it. The hype doesn’t necessarily diminish the allure for me.

ETA: as someone who went to private school in NY, yep, the girls today are probably still taller, slimmer, cuter, better dressed with better hair, so VCA no doubt looks fabulous on them :D

To answer OP's question, I would say NO because I have yet to own it😅 & where I am living (countryside) I don't see anyone wears VCA or Cartier. I only came to know these brands 2 yrs ago🤣 as you can see I'm living under a rock! But agreed on others, it's everywhere now in social media but in real life when I visit the city I could count in one hand if I ever see any VCA or Cartier. But I don't buy things based on popularity or social media, I invest my hard earned money for something that I really like & buy on meaningful occasions.
