yup, I wear my cartier pasha every single day. and no, it's not that beautiful and new anymore, it's definitely scratched up and worn. but I don't care, I don't need to stay brand new looking, I prefer to enjoy it over babying it.

OP Congrats on your new Cartier! My first "luxury" watch was also a Cartier and I wore it every day until it was stolen :cry:.

I agree that it is best to enjoy and wear your watches without worry. Especially if you are careful. I alternate between different watches, but I tend to wear my JLC Reverso on a daily basis. The only exception I make in regards to my philosophy of wearing and enjoying my watches is my Berguet. That watch is strictly for special occasions!

kohl_mascara - I really like your Longines. Longines makes nice watches and the style of yours is gorgeous!

OP - the balloon bleu is on my wishlist and I'm glad you're going to start wearing it every day. It's a waste to keep such a beauty hidden and collecting dust in your jewelry box!

Absolutely! I feel naked without a watch and wear either a rolex or chopard everyday. If I am doing something like skiing, sledding with the kids, or like activity I do wear my sportier rolex (yatchmaster) vs my president or chopard. Even then, my yatchmaster still looks great.

i'm lucky enough to have 3 luxury watches: cartier tank midsize, bedat no. 3 with diamond case and rolex two tone datejust and i wear them interchangeably. not a day goes by when i'm not wearing one of them...feel naked without them and i'm of the mindset, if you buy it, then use it.

Absolutely! Just an off-top, I remember purchasing my first really nice diamond studs about 7 years ago. As the sales person was processing the sale, and we were chatting, I said something like 'well I will only wear them on special occasions'. She was like: 'No, you wear them EVERY DAY!'. I learned my lesson and never preserved my nice items for 'special occasions only'. Life is too short for this, girlfriend! :D Enjoy your new beauty every day!

im a big watch guy, i have 2 rolexes, a franck mueller, a breitling and a couple of less expensive pieces (kenneth cole, gucci, perry ellis, citizen echo drive). i will wear one everyday, but based on whatever the day calls for.

I come from a family where everyone has a Rolex in the safe and a cheap watch on their wrist (loved the comment from the person whose father did that too) and this is my first really nice watch, so it's great to remember to enjoy it!

I was thinking about the Cartier Tank F too... that may be the next purchase!

That was my dad :D Mind you he also has a flash sports car in the garage which he doesn't take out too - drives around in my mum's car!

Amongst other things, my mum bought a sapphire faced (one large sapphire) watch a couple of years ago - again in the safe and has never and probably will never see daylight!

My brother has a Lamborghini and a Harley in the garage, and a Rolex in the safe! Don't you love them for being like this, while it breaks your heart too?
