Of course! I posted it in the watch reference thread, but here it is (this pic really doesn't do the watch justice! It sparkles like crazy):

It's a very dainty and small but elegant looking watch. It has a white MoP face with 1.98 carats of top wesselton VVS clarity diamonds. It was a gift from my parents as a graduation present.
YES longines qualifies as luxury!! its beautiful I love longines, so classic:nuts:

kohl - Your watch is beautiful.

Bagaday - Every once in a while I daydream about purchasing that gold Philip Stein that you have! But then I remind myself that I have too many watches!

Thank you hokaplan :D

Thank you Candice!!! :hugs: The sales person at Le Tourneau told me that Longines is not a luxury brand watch - he said instead, it's a transitional piece or a level below "luxury brand" or something to that effect.

Anyway, luxury or not, I love it!

Yes I wear my rolex (two tone datejust) everyday. I believe if you spend that much on a watch you should wear it.

My dad has the same watch with diamonds and it sits in the safe whilst he wears a really cheap one - I can't see the point myself!

Thanks so much, everyone! :smile1: You've really helped convince me to wear my new Ballon Bleu every day (after I get half the links taken out, it's huge)! It's so true, what a pity to have it stay perfect in the closet. And I used to do things like toss my Seiko into the bottom of my gym bag, which I won't be doing any longer with the Cartier! :lawl:

I was brought up to keep things for special occasions too, but then they never see the light of day!

yes! you should enjoy the beautiful things that you have!

I alternate between my Cartier, Ebel, Tag and Omega every day! 3 of them have diamonds and I still wear them. I don't believe in leaving hem in their boxes hidden away!

I either wear my Patek Philippe SS twenty-4, or my Rolex 18K/SS two-tone datejust to just about anywhere I go. It's a waste if you leave your beautiful watch behind to collect dust instead of enhancing your outfit for the day. :smile1: Your Ballon Bleu is gorgeous...I'd say to wear it with pride, and to flaunt it with style!

Haha, what a snooty thing to say!! Well, I think your watch is beautiful and luxurious by any definition! Thanks for posting a pic!

Glad that you have decided to wear it. You'll enjoy it. Wear whatever you have often to lower cost per wear!

I wear my Omega Constellation, Omega Aqua Terra and Rolex Datejust on a rotation basis. You'll get scratches from time to time but hey, remember, there's polishing service for such watches. :)

For sure wear it everyday. That is such a beautiful watch. I also take my good jewelry off for cleaning but you might as well enjoy it.

what a thing to say!! I went to the basel fair in switzerland last year and longines' booth was one of the busiest. the movements and techniques they use are very very good quality...so even if he doesn't consider it "luxury" I do:p
