Do you travel with your H bag?

I've traveled all over Europe with my Birkin and Evelyn bags but by far my favorite for travel is my lindy. It is the perfect combination of hands free security and fun arm carry if I want. It is the easiest to slip my hand in and out of while still not having to panic if it tips over on the security scanner for fear of dumping out all my worldly goods.

I took the plunge and did for the first time today! This is aB30 in an expandable lepliage not expanded. I didnt wanna "expose" her identity at the airport. I am wondering what I'll do if it's a B35?
A B35 can fit but the handles will stick out, I've done that and I didn't close zipper. But if you expand the Le Pliage, the B35 can fit plus a K35 :)

A B35 came home with me on this trip so I had to expand and put it in the "plain bag" so I didn't look to funny carrying it crossbody. Lol!

I laughed when I see your posting, cos I can totally understand! I am almost the same height as you! It really looks weird when I expand it..

Haha! Glad someone gets it! Requested a white bag from h and used it to conceal the expanded lepliage for new B35 transport (box in luggage) and hung it on the handle of my son's stroller. B30 I placed in the dustbag right when we got to the airport then hung it on the other stroller handle. Crisis of having to look ridiculous by wearing expanded lepliage crossbody averted!

Ive traveled with my Kelly before. Very convenient. I think the Kelly is the most practical bag ever, the strap is next to the handles so its very stable on the shoulder (there are some tote like bags that attach the straps to the edges and it feels like balancing a canoe on your shoulder...), it closes very easily (for security)...
I only had one negative when traveling with my K: I dont want any items I cant stick in the wash touching those crates (GERMS), and that includes handbags, and especially precious handbags (I dont baby my bags, ever, but they are precious to me:smile:) like those from H. So I put my Kelly in its dustbag before putting it in the crate. One of the employees at that airport pointedly looked, sniggered, and said a very scathing, borderline sexist remark that I will not quote to his colleague out loud, not aware that I speak the local language very, very well. That was unpleasant! Other than that I like traveling with my K. I havent traveled with a B yet and Im going to be tomorrow, simply because it doesnt fit in my carry on luggage (I never check in my H bags). Ill let you know how it goes...Im taking the dustbag with me. I don't have a Longchamp bag yet unfortunately...
