Do you travel with your H bag?

I am totally compulsive when it comes to my bags--and they look it.
I'd love to have a beautiful bag on arrival, but I refuse to put in a suitcase (squashed, stolen, or damaged-something always spills, so take your choice) and the notion of putting it through security on one of those dirty trays and having it manhandled or squashed up against someone else's baggage is decidedly unpleasant. Then what do you do with the bag once you're on the plane--put it under the seat, and what if there's stuff on the floor or someone spills there drink, and how do you even put it under the seat without scrunching it up?
Bottom line, I've never brought one with but I'd like to.
If someone could talk me through this and give me any thoughts or suggestions, I would be most appreciative.

I travel with my bolide and Kelly. On flights here they offer blankets so often I'd use the plastic the blanket came in and lay it on the floor under the seat as sort of protection for my bags. I never put them overhead.

I was wondering how everyone feels about traveling with your Hermes bags. I'm too nervous to put one in checked baggage and do worry when I'm leaving it in a hotel room even in my locked luggage. I normally travel with only one Hermes purse and just hope for the best.

Does anyone else have these worries or is it only me?

:confused1:
You're not alone girl. It really is too risky. Have you heard about Rafael Nadal's uber expensive watch being stolen from his hotel room while he competed this year's French Open? The good news was that they recovered the watch after 2 days. As usual the culprit was the last person logged into the security system - hotel staff.

I have the same fear as you and have been reading on how the rest managed to travel with their H bags. Was wondering if it will be easier to place a massai cut or so kelly inside another bag before laying them under the seat?

I travel with my bags, I tuck them inside another bag or wrap a blanket around them. They are bags, I try not to worry too much as I need purses when I travel!!!:flowers:

I travel with all my H bags. Even Crocs. I always have a GM cashmere on me so I just wrap the bag in it when it goes through security.
I do the same for take off and landing when it needs to be stored in the above head locker.

However, I once had a bad experience. One business class female fly-attendant took the bag (she was too fast for me to intervene) and literally threw it inside with such a spite- I could not believe my eyes. I never flaunt my bags and never say how much they are worth etc.but this time I just looked at her and said "This bag should not be handled like this, and you must know it. It is worth 35 thousand." And she knew. She did it on purpose. You could just tell.

Don't you just hate that kind of spite/jealous nature in some people, I hope ur bag didn't need a spa after that...

Haven't done much long distance travels this year, but for shorter trips I carry my H in a protector and nest an evening H w/ GM and carre as cushion and buffer.
