Thanks Julide! They are gorgeous indeed. I only meant 'pop' in the context of that group, the clutches are the lightest and darkest bags and therefore stand out the most. Very chic! Don't you like gris perle? I have a Jige Elan 35 in that subtle color and it goes with all kinds of things. I'm looking forward to seeing your wardrobe pics too, very much. How long are you staying? And thanks so much for indulging my curiousity. :flowers:

Pierina:flowers:I understand! Sorry.:shame:They do pop in the group, I never realised this until you pointed it out! Thank you!!:flowers:I don't mind sharing at all.:flowers:I am here for 6 days? I think...BTW my Kelly Elan is Gris Claire:shame:Jet lag...but gris perle is a wonderful colour, and your Jige Elan, is a beauty!!!:flowers:

Julide, you're a genius. Must be heavy lugging it around though.

I usually travel with my GP or a 37 Bolide. Because both can be carried over the shoulder. I don't like travelling with handheld bags.

Jadeite:laugh:Yeah it is heavy,:biguns:but a small price to pay to have bag variety!:p

Pierina These are for you!!:flowers:I hate "action" pics:shame:Here I am with my 32 Etain Kelly Lakis and my 32 Gris T Massai cut. As you can tell from my awkward postions, I have no clue what I am doing!!

that is impressive Julide!! you are really skilled at packing..and your bags are all fabulous :smile1:

Thanks so much for the pictures, Julide! I love all your neutral colors - they look terrific with your bags, very elegant! I was curious to know what colors you were wearing with the bags. I admire how many bags you've brought with you! And yes, I thought that the Kelly Elan style was a bit older and was wondering that it came in Gris Perle but Gris Clair is gorgeous! What colors do you wear with the clutches, for evening or dressier? Black? Enjoy your trip, and thanks again for the pictures. :D

Wow. I'm several days behind the curve on this revelation, but still feeling the punch! An extraordinary display of packing ability AND aesthetic brilliance.

This is going to haunt my dreams . . . .

Excuse my ignorance but what is diplomatic worldwide? :smile1:

My apologies for not being clearer. My family and I have diplomatic status (under Geneva) so I am able to ship items from country to country under bilateral agreements wherein taxes (including VAT) are not charged. I rarely pay taxes at the point of sale but usually get them reimbursed if/when I do as a result of these agreements.

With such status, items have a tendency to literally fly through customs. I personally get checked only at the airport but items that I mail from point to point have dip status and are labeled as such. I don't ever deal with customs as others fill out the diplomatic (dip) forms and the labeling.

Thanks so much for the explanation! I sort of figured it was something of that nature. That's amazing!

...interesting because my family was also in the diplomatic service. However we could only post, from country of origin to where my father was stationed at the time. Which country are you from and can you post anywhere in the world?

I am a U.S. citizen....and yes, I can post anywhere in the world. (Trust me, i know how fortunate that makes me).

I will travel and I don't want to take my beloved Birkin as my handbag on the flight. Do you put them in your suitcase? I am SO scared that my suitcase might get lost... :roll eyes:

I never put anything in a suitcase I would be devasted to lose or never see again. Including a fresh change of clothes. Not jewelry, nothing. Have always had to make do with taking my bag on the flight, using that for wallet, passport and documents, and putting all the good stuff in carry-on.

I wouldn't take the risk! Why don't you want to take the B on the flight?
