Julide, great packing skills and beautiful neutrals there. I like how you pack Massai Cut into the Kelly Lakis. We can only do this with Clemence leather which only shows how wonderful Clemence leather can be for travelling.

Thank you FashionistaO!:cutesy:I was happy about the camera too!!:laugh:Terrible not to put a pic when you are trying to give an example!

I'll be travelling next month and i'm thinking my marwari gm canvas will be a better choice over an evelyne gm which can get quite heavy. It's a company incentive trip, what do u think? I love comfort of the marwari, but it's too plain & i get bored of it fast. I'm a dude btw...TIA

Julide - What wonderful bags, such a great group that looks so nice together! Really gorgeous. Is it a coincidence that the lightest and darker ones are smaller clutches, are they your more 'pop' colors? I hope it's not too nosy to wonder what colors your clothing and scarves are to go with all these beauties? Have a terrific trip. :D

So:whistle:I finally got my camera and new computer!!:happydance:These are the bags that I will be traveling with!:flowers:From the back Paris Bombay 37 Etoupe, Massai Cut 32 Gris T, Kelly Lakis 32 Etain, Kelly Elan Gris Perle, and Chocolate Chamonix Maharani. Hopefully I will have every event covered! It feels great to post a pic!!!:sunshine:

And this is all of them packed up!!:pThe massai is inside the Kelly and the Kelly Elan and the Maharani are in their bags behind!! I throw a shawl over the top! Packed and ready to go! Thanks for letting me share!:flowers:

WOW! Julide!!, such a beautiful collection of bags to travel with, and great packing skills too! May I ask do you need roll up or fold the Massai Cut in order to fit it into the Kelly Larkis? Thank you for showing us such good trick.:woohoo:

I only have two Birkins. For me it depends on where I will be (for example, taking children to DisneyWorld or going to the Caribbean for a 3 day hop would be a no-go for bag travel), what I will be doing (more formal or informal events where bag would naturally be worn) and how long I will be away (5 days or less--probably not). When I do travel with one or both Bs, I have never physically carried them to the destination--I always mail one or both of my bags to my destination in advance, overnight, insured and requiring signature delivery...I do the same prior to departure....it works for me....
That sounds like a great idea on the shipping it ahead. How does it work going through customs?

Pierina2:flowers:Thank you for your kind compliment!:heart:My personal bag philosophy:smartass:is to buy a bag I think looks best with the colour I like, this includes leather and proportions. I think the maharani since it is so long looks better with a darker colour where I think the Kelly Elan is more proportionate and looks great with any colours. As I have yet to venture down the road of actual colours, it would be hard for me to say about a "pop" but in my own prespective certain bags look better in lighter vs darker, and textured leather vs smooth. For example I love the massai cut but only in clemance do not like it in swift. JMHO! I hope this answers your question! Sorry a bit worrdy!:shame:And your question was not nosy at all! If I have time I will try to take pics of some of my outfits with my bags on this trip!!:flowers:

BegForBag:flowers:Thank you!!!:heart:I removed the straps from the Massai roll them into the bottom of the bag fold the bag in half, from the top, put it in its dust jacket and put in into the Lakis. It was on an 10 hour flight and there was no lines or indentations! IHTH!!:flowers:

Thanks Julide! They are gorgeous indeed. I only meant 'pop' in the context of that group, the clutches are the lightest and darkest bags and therefore stand out the most. Very chic! Don't you like gris perle? I have a Jige Elan 35 in that subtle color and it goes with all kinds of things. I'm looking forward to seeing your wardrobe pics too, very much. How long are you staying? And thanks so much for indulging my curiousity. :flowers:

Julide, you're a genius. Must be heavy lugging it around though.

I usually travel with my GP or a 37 Bolide. Because both can be carried over the shoulder. I don't like travelling with handheld bags.
