Do you travel with your H bag?

Yes  I always travel w/ a small bag that easily fits in my carry on and typically would take my chanel black caviar woc. I had been lusting after a CTG to serve the same purpose for my travels and was offered one last summer:loveeyes: It works just as great and I definitely intend on taking it on future travels.

I took my C18 to Italy in 2022. This was me in Positano  The C18 served its purpose as this was a more laid back/leisurely trip. However, I will prefer the CTG for most trips as I like to pack very minimally/carefree.

During my current trip to asia i am carrying it with h tote from petit h with a foldable harrods tote if it rains. I find this halzan quite versatile since it can work as crossbody for day and night hold it by its handles. Also it isn’t fast to get into but secure so no worries about mugging and keep a bastia with change in the front pocket.

I carried my Bleu de Prusse Evelyn 16 to India this year. While it’s super cute, I found it a bit too small and fiddly as I had to put my wallet on top of my other essentials. I was worried about things falling out and stretching the leather. I positively preferred the Bolide 25, the Chanel WOC or the Prada camera bag.

I feel the same about my mini Evelyne. Much prefer my bigger bags.

For those of you that have taken your Birkins, how do you travel with them and pack them?

I have a B35 that I've never traveled with; I definitely don't plan on wearing it on the plane (as I'll use my Keepall 55 as my carry-on), so wanted tips on how to get it from point A to point B without crushing in in luggage.

I usually have a couple/few bags nestled in a smaller rollaboard that I carry on. And then I may have another smaller bag tucked in my Goyard St. Louis. I haven't really brought my B35 when travelling by plane, only car or train. I've travelled with a K35 on a flight but it was just once. I don't really have my H bags out when I'm en-route. They come out when I reach my destination, unless it's a smaller Kelly/Evelyn etc.

Thanks---that's a good idea.
I first thought to nestle it in my Keepall, but I don't think it'll fit [properly] with the handles. :confused1::sad: Maybe I will try to tuck it inside my H Grooming Bag.

I kept it wrapped in its dust bag through security and on the plane - it actually may have been the dust bag for my etriviere tote which is slightly larger and covers the Birkin handles completely. I also kept it in front of my seat and not in the overhead. It may be a tight squeeze if you’re not in a row with additional leg room.

can you fit your B35 in your keepall 55 . I always carry my B35 during travel, it sits on top of my carry on roller...easy peasy.if you have a hardcover luggage (ie. rimowa) would be hard to crush. just make sure you stuff clothes or whatever inside the B35 before you put it in the dustbag so it doesnt fold over.
