Do you think this looks a little too tight?

Doesn‘t look snug to me! I had bought the 15 clou and wanted to sell my 17 love to be able to stack. However in some situations the 15 juc (which is equivalent to a size 16 love) bothered me. My 17 love and 16 juc sometimes feel too loose however the smaller ones too tight- im kind of inbetween
Thanks for taking time to respond. I sort of feel like I’m inbetween as well. My SA said the 17 was too big, though I was only allowed to try on with a sizer due to COVID. My 16 leaves indents from the screws on both sides of my arms and I think it’s pressing on my tendon or a nerve because I’ve having wrist/arm pain and I can’t think of anything else that would be causing it.

I don’t plan on stacking another Cartier bracelet at this time. I’d prefer to pair it with the Van Cleef Alhambra bracelet, which I know is looser.

Thank you for your input. Had you purchased a 16 previously or only purchased a 17? I’m not sure how to go about selling my 16. I purchased it at the beginning of August so I’ve just had it a month. I’ve started to develop carpel tunnel type symptoms on my left wrist (side I wear it)with pain going up to my shoulder. I’m not 100% sure it’s from the bracelet, but I haven’t had this before. I just took the bracelet off 2 days ago and am still having pain. I know that a lot resale sites (RealReal, Fashionphile, etc). Take a large percentage of the sale. My husband had saved up to buy this for 10 year anniversary in September and I just feel terrible

Are you still within the 30 day window for return/exchange?

I’m so sorry the bracelet isn’t working out for you. The fit looks 100% fine (and those indentations from the screws are totally normal) but if it’s not comfortable, I agree with removing it and seeing if the pain subsides. Many on this forum have said it took them a while to adjust to the bracelet but you shouldn’t be experiencing any pain.

I have the same exact wrist measurements as you (14.5 cm on the small part of my wrist and just under 15 cm at the widest point right across my wrist bone). My bracelet fits exactly the same way as yours and occasionally catches at the wrist bone. Before buying the 10 diamond love 2.5 years ago, I tried the bracelet on several times at many different boutiques and the staff always insisted I was a 16. The various SAs said the size 17 would move/spin way too much, would sit awkwardly on the palm of my hand, and would feel uncomfortable. A few of them also mentioned that the screws would likely become loose from all the extra movement. I went with the 16 but often wish it had a little bit more room. Also, the bracelet is oval shaped and not made to be flexible so the fit is different from any other bracelets I own.

Since you’re just past the return period, I’d hold off on selling for the time being. Maybe wait and see if the pain goes away or switch it to your other wrist if your other wrist is smaller. If that doesn’t work, maybe you can get quotes from several online consignment shops and go with the one that gives you the best price. I hope it all works out for you ❤️. It really does look beautiful on you.

+1 to that! I have the same measurements as well and also have a 16 love. I’ve also questioned at times if I should’ve gotten the 17 (I stack 3 loves right now) so I could stack more. I have those indentations too but they don’t bother me and my bracelets have never caused me any discomfort. Agreed with diva lee that the bracelet does look beautiful on you and hope it works out regardless of what you decide!

Thank you so much for taking the time to give me such a thorough response. I took my bracelet off today and am going to see if the pain subsides. I’ve been having pain going all the way up to my shoulder and it does seem a bit better without the bracelet on. I’m going to give it a few days to see if it is the bracelet causing it. I’m afraid the 17 would be too big, but also can’t wear a bracelet if it’s causing pain. So I’ll just wait and see.

Hi. Thank you for your kind response. I’m going to try going without it for a few days to see if my discomfort subsides and then try to figure out a plan from there. My friend has a wrist that measures smaller than mine (14cm) and curiously she was also fitted by an SA to be a 16, which i found interesting.

I agree with your wait and see approach. Hopefully the pain was caused by something else and will go away soon. I think the 17 would be quite large on you but comfort is the most important thing.
