Do you think this looks a little too tight?

My wrist is about 14.7 cm and I ended up getting the size 18. (a 16 and a 17 both fit but even the 17 I felt was a little too snug looking and an 18 would make my arm look skinnier). I was told not to get the 18 but I did it anyway. Google Meghan Markle w her love bracelet and hers is so loose I love the look. Good luck on your decision!

The SA was very adamant about the 16 being the proper fit, and even though she let me try on the 17, she took it off instantly and said no it’s not suppose to be worn like a bangle and that if I chose the 17 I can damage it and cause issues with the screws.

I’ve attached pictures of the 16 only because she pretty much grabbed the 17 away as soon as it touched my wrist lol.

While wearing the 16 in the store for a few minutes it already was getting stuck and didn’t flow freely. It left little indentations in my skin as well, but I heard that happens regardless which is fine.
Two SAs both told me the 16, but it felt just a little sufficating. I wish there was a 16.5.
The big issue is that I’m going to be losing 20lbs this spring/summer so I don’t know if the 16 will become more comfortable along the way, or if I chose the 17 it might be way too big. I don’t have chubby wrists though, they’re all bones so I don’t even know if the weight loss will be relevant since it’s all in my midsection.

I do plan on stacking the bracelet which is a future concern of it being too tight.

Do you guys think it looks too small?
(Please excuse the terrible tattoo, I was young and dumb and in the process of getting it removed lol)
Looks great on you .
Not tight at all.

With Love bracelets I do think it shouldn’t fit too loose. You’ll end up wearing the love 24/7, so if it is too loose, you tend to bang them around alot. Plus, a proper fit is preferred for loves long as they dont stop your blood from flowing .

yes but at the same time people need to be comfortable. some people like tight fit some people like loose fit and they should be able to choose what suits them or their lifestyle.

my love is tight fit and it took me several days to really get used to it. i myself probably would have gone for loose fit but trust me i’m not complaining.

but anyway all i’m saying is .... let people choose and be comfortable. what works for one person doesn’t necessarily work for someone else.

I agree! tight look doesn’t mean tight tight to the point where it is uncomfortable, what I meant is like tight, proper fit rather than being too loose, but comfortness is still priority. No matter how good it looks on you, but if you are uncomfortable wearing it...not a long way to go...just an opinion.

Go with what you feel most comfortable with. Cartier says the love bracelet is supposed to fit close to the wrist. When I got mine, they recommended an 18 but the 19 felt more comfortable for me so that's the one I bought. Dont forget that in the summer, everything expands and a bracelet thats too tight may become an issue. On the other hand, you dont want one thats so loose that it'll spin on your wrist and cause damage.

Snap! My wrist and bracelet are the same size as yours and I feel like this is the perfect fit. Close fitting but totally comfortable even at night or in hotter weather.
Where are you measuring your wrist? Over the bone or the small part of your wrist under the bone (on your arms side)? My wrist (small part) measures 14.5 but measured right over the bone is 15. I got the size 16 as I was assured this was the correct fit and I wonder if I should sell it and save up for a 17 because it does feel snug sometimes.

Thank you for your input. Had you purchased a 16 previously or only purchased a 17? I’m not sure how to go about selling my 16. I purchased it at the beginning of August so I’ve just had it a month. I’ve started to develop carpel tunnel type symptoms on my left wrist (side I wear it)with pain going up to my shoulder. I’m not 100% sure it’s from the bracelet, but I haven’t had this before. I just took the bracelet off 2 days ago and am still having pain. I know that a lot resale sites (RealReal, Fashionphile, etc). Take a large percentage of the sale. My husband had saved up to buy this for 10 year anniversary in September and I just feel terrible
