Do you think diamond studs are appropriate for daytime?

Diamond studs are perfect for anytime - day or night. Diamonds are always appropriate!

Every day, I wear my diamond engagement ring with two diamond bands and I wear a diamond anniversary ring on the other hand. I will be adding a watch pretty soon to my daily regimen and I plan for it to have diamonds too!

I would like to clarify my previous post in this thread, I interpret and use the term "diamond" as an item of bling that has the "look" of a diamond, not the actual gemstone.

I've never heard about that "bling only at night" rule. I always thought diamond stud earings and pearl necklaces were conservative daytime work accessories!

I can't believe anyone still thinks style is about following outdated rules! Maybe it was considered "vulgar" for our grandmothers, but diamond studs are such a basic today that they are the equivalent of a great neutral handbag that goes with everything. I personally reach for my round brilliant 1.5 ctw diamond studs almost every day no matter what I am wearing - even though I have a ton of other choices:busted (yes, I have a slight jewelry fetish), they are my favorites and always look right. I also believe the right attitude can pull most anything off. I like to wear one outrageous piece (big solitaire cocktail ring, etc.) with my jeans sometimes just for fun. I guess that's my point; fashion is supposed to make you happy...when my DH bought me a very dressy vintage white gold diamond Rolex several years ago for our anniversary, I couldn't take it off because I wanted to look at it all the time. I even wore it hiking, which cracked my friends up to no end! So, go for it, ladies!

I don't know what I'd wear on my ears if I couldn't wear diamonds during the day. I go back and forth between my diamond earrings made up of round diamonds shaped into a star, my diamond hoops, my wire drop diamond eaarings and my diamond studs. I'm a teacher and they don't look out of place at all, although I did have a couple of students ask me if the diamonds were real! hahaha

i wear my studs everyday and i love them to death...wear them everyday and give them a good cleaning every day and night. i have roughly 2ctw. i really don't think they are inappropriate at all for daytime, and as long as you love them...that's all that matters!

I definitely think diamond studs are day appropriate! I think they can be worn anytime..I really wanna get some! Although I have to say I think its better if they are smaller. Probably 2ct at the very most but 1ct would be better I think!

I never take my studs out. I probably wouldn't wear long, dangly diamond earrings or a huge diamond filled necklace during the day, but I think tasteful studs and an understated diamond necklace are always appropriate.

i definitely think they are appropriate for daytime. pearls AND diamonds. just no extravagant jewerly. studs are perfect for work IMO

I no im a little late on this subject but upto now ive only worn silver earrings because i didnt OWN any diamond studs however i turn 18 tomorrow and decided the perfect gift was my first real diamonds so im going small and gotten 1/4 carats which im planning to wear everyday.
