Do You Prefer Size 30 or 35 Birkin?

35 for every day work very practical.. I found 25 for dress up in bright colors. No 30 for me.

But coming to understand one's own size preference is never an easy time. No matter how much pondering one can go through, nothing beats the actual experience of owning and using a bag before one can be absolutely sure.

I'm 5'7", so I think 35 for you. However I am, ahem, "big-boned" and have now fallen in love with my 40! Can you try on/play with any before you decide?

I love the Kelly 32 for everyday, too! However, since I am short I prefer to have 32's in darker or more neutral colors. With brighter colors, I'd go with a 28.

Anyone have a Birkin 40cm? It's huge but if you're about 5'3" and above it would make the most stylish carry-on!

The 40 is very big! It is good for over night.I have put 2 pairs of shoes 2 pants and 4 tops plus make-up bag .I am 5'10" with out shoes.

I carry the 35cm as my everyday bag and I love it. Sometimes it gets a little heavy but I carry a lot of stuff and couldn't have a smaller bag.

Tks ASA for your suggestion...the problem is I can only get my hands on a 30 and 35 and not a 40...so I am not sure if the 40 is going to be huge on me.. I think to be safe, i will stick with a 35 as I worry the bigger the bag, the more I put and my shoulder can't handle...I am alreay getting back pain!!

Nana1025--true, 40 is heavy, esp in clemence. upsideis it makes my 35 seem light as a feather! I still vote for 35 for you. Good luck!

I like both 30 and 35. I tend to wear 35 with jeans and more casual clothing. For more formal occasions, or when I wear a dress, I usually carry the 30.
