Is it considered tacky to wear shoes that exactly match your purse? For example, I have Dior's Jeanne and found the matching pumps online. The purse has a large chainmaille buckle on the front. The matching shoes have the same chainmaille buckle on the toes. Would wearing both be too much? What are your thoughts on this?

Agree completely! Back in the day matching shoes and bag was a very stylish, classy look that showed a woman paid great attention to her dressing.

which reminds me of a woman i saw once in Paris....rasta snow boots and rasta coat and rasta bag...she looked RIDICULOUS 
Hello Girls ... I was thinking about this topic a lot . Matching bag with the shoes has a long story . Now we are more open for change , me mix , we love it. But I found it out any time i am buying bag or shoes i start to think hmmm... what they can match ( even I was wearing mixed items). Few days ago my CL Lady Gres arrived in pewter color 
, and they just match perfect my Chloe bag ....nad I love it .... who said the matching bag with the shoes isnt trendy ???? I think can be always classy ...
