Do you match your bag with your shoes?

It so depends on where I'm going and what I'm doing. For festive outings I do black heels or boots and usually I match them with a black bag. In Christmas time I love to carry my bright red Furla Metropolitan or LC LPC crossbody but I don't have red shoes so I don't match.
For my everyday life, I usually wear either light camo Toms, white sneakers or black ankle boots and rarely does my bag match the shoes. Sometimes I carry my beige LC Penelope or Marimekko Kaivo with the Toms to kinda match but that's about as much trouble I'm willing to go through.

On the other hand, matching shoes&bag is like matching lipstick and nail polish or bag hardware to jewelry - it does add a of bit extra coherence to an outfit.

IMO black and black aren’t matchy just essential. Basic.

I try to match two things in my outfits. it could be belt & shoes or bag & gloves or jacket & bag. So it could be shoes and bag - but not always.

I don't match colors with my bags but I try to match themes. If I am wearing sneakers and out shopping at the fleamarket. I will probably carry a crossbody. If I am wearing red and green plaid kitten heels at a xmas party I might carry a sparkly bag. Matching shoes and bags ia old fashioned. I remember the Queen Elizabeth did that. She always work black shoes and carried that black bag.
