the 35 sellier definitely looks slightly briefcase-esque to me, especially in darker colours like black/brown etc. maybe you could consider a 35 retourne instead? i once had a 35 retourne and sold it because i couldn't make it work for me, but several years later (i.e. 2011) i decided to revisit the size and i'm loving it now!

What bag insert did you get? Is it the same for both the 28 and the 32?

I would agree that a 28sellier is harder to get in and out of...because it is, well...hard. LOL. Love the look, though!! Especially if you are petite.
Right now im debating another 28sellier vs 32 retourner. While it would be a no brainer in a soft leather, what about box?

DYING for a 32 in clemence, togo or epsom.. i know epsom is much different from these leathers, but i love the texture and structure, keeps it elegant and casual at the same time.. on the other hand, a clemence kelly is my dream, as its slouch is so casual but again, its a kelly so its such a perfect marriage.. i think clemence is my favorite leather for sure.

Box is harder to get in and out of even in retourne, compared to, say, Togo.
But for this reason, I really like retourne Kellys in Box. It's kind of slouchy but then it still has a nice shape. I have one in 28 and one in 32, and they are both great. Again, I realize that many people prefer Box Kellys in sellier.

Like you, I adore clemence leather. Two of my Birkins are clemence and the color is so gorgeous and saturated.... A Kelly in this luscious leather would be divine!!!

i took a bag in to send to paris on wednesday and i did ask, coincidentally! :) man oh man, i hope i get that call.. although i said black w/ phw..now i'm rethinking that. especially after you reminded me of how clemence sucks up those lucious colors so fabulously.. toronto is so conservative though, they don't get many of those show stopping colors..

i need a hook up in japan!!

What leather did you request?
One is for box but wouldn't it be fun to order one of the goegeous colors?
I saw one here called quetesch?sp?? Purple!

I'm dying for a 32 also....I have a 28 sellier in box and I love it, but I agree it is so hard to get in and out of. I have two 35's one togo the other clemence but I really want a 32 (sometimes I just don't feel like dragging a large bag around with me) and my SA can't seem to get one in a color I like. So I'm just waiting....:pout:

texasgirl - i requested for my first choice clemence because i'm craving that slouch leather in a kelly for everyday type use.. although i said i'd also be happy with togo or epsom. i wonder if i should ask for a color instead.. i just hate sometimes when i'm ready to leave my home and i realize i have to change my bag last minute because i have too many colors going on.. i'm not the type to change my bag everyday.. i'm a once every 2 weeks type of girl.. i need to fully enjoy my bag until i send it bag to its dustbag on the shelf.. so these are the things i think about when deciding on black vs color. worse things in life right? lol

BalLVLover - 28 in box is divine and classy :). i agree, 32 is such a perfect size for everyday, although 35 is exquisite in her own right and also quite functional! i will try and be patient and wait also.. good luck on that 32!!
