ladies, i am about 1.63m, thats should be 5'5" , will a 28 sellier kelly be too small for me?

I have a birkin 35 for that casual tote, tried a 35 kelly clemence before (for just a short time) and just can not make it work. It was actually a lot heavier than my 34 swift lindy ...

I want something not too similar to my birkin 35 but i do not want to look ridiculous if the bag looks horribly too small on me ...

Will a 28 sellier kelly be too small for me? i would love to have a sellier kelly...

Wyh, i am 5'5" and i find the 32 in kelly works best for me. I wouldnt trade it for a 28 unless it was an exotic. It works well from day to evening bag. HTH. Unless u r planning to use it like an evening bag, i think 28 might be a bit odd imo.

Whi, many people like a sellier 28 for a formal Kelly look. I personally find that a sellier 28 doesn't hold enough to be a useful day bag (and I carry so little that I can use a retourne 28 as a daily bag with no problem). I too love the look of a sellier Kelly, but I don't find it as easy to use as a retourne. I have only one sellier, in 32, that I use mostly during the day. I find that a Kelly 32 is a bit big for night, and in sellier even more so because of the corners and sharper lines. It is gorgeous however. I actually think the lines and proportion of the Kelly are most beautiful in 32 sellier.
For versatility, I think 32 is the best. Also for your height.

I'm the same height as you and I prefer the 32 on me, the 28 is more suitable for evenings or when you carry less things. For me, surely not a size to wear daily.

I'm petite and I've both the 28 and 32 Kelly. The 28 is a Sellier and I use it both day and night when I'm not in my jeans and in a dressier mode. I was amazed that I was able to fit a bag insert into the 28. With the bag insert, I have my bi-fold wallet, a couple of pens, lipstick, cell phone and compact without any problems. I find that with all sizes of Kelly, using the bag insert to fill your items is the best way since the bigger you get, the deeper you've to reach. A Sellier is going to look more formal and the larger size you get, the more rigid it gets so I find that the 28 works best for me.

i have been very undecided as to which Kelly to get and now i know...

32 Kelly Retourne (i'm 5"3)

now to decide on a colour... decisions, decisions, decisions ;)

Do you have a chance to try it on? I'm same height as you are and I don't like 32cm on myself. 28 is a perfect day-time size (I'm waiting for two of them to arrive :pout:) and 25 is definitely an evening bag. I would love to get 25cm in exotic leather.

i kinda like bigger bags so i think it will be fine, but now that i know what i want i will pop down to my H store to try them out and look at leathers.

i got my birkin the same way, i looked at pics on the forum, knew i wanted a 35 etoupe in togo and popped into H to get one, i did not try any other sizes.

this time i am not sure of colour or leather so will decide that instore

hope your new additions arrive soon
