As usual when you build you always want everything out of the builders range and upgrade, plus in 14 days from today we flying for 32 days on an African adventure with our kids. But once we move in and things are settled I would like to get an Hermes bag might not be the Birkin at first or a Chanel to wear out in the evenings.

My resolution is to enjoy what I have and to let go of what isn't useful. I used to obsess over what I didn't have; now I find I'm very happy with a more compact collection and am learning to plan my purchases better.

I had a resolution to use all my bags by the half way point in the year because I'm trying to decide what ones to keep and what to part with. I'm doing that with everything I own this purge year. I'm happy to say I have done that. Thanks to this thread I remembered to just try and carry some of my bigger ones this month.

I just bought 7 bags (and sold 3) this year.
After reading posts on other threads, I decided to plan more on how I buy bags by having a wishlist (I think seeing a list would help me reflect more which ones I really like) and just rewarding myself on special occasions maybe just buying 2-3 bags per year --- but I'll start next year since I am planning on another bag in a few months and I am already beyond the 2-3 bags this year :p.
