I don't know about anyone else, but I can't afford expensive designers, as I'm on a tight budget and always will be. I'm a Treesje and Botkier girl. My New Year's Resolution is to figure out a way convince my spouse that getting handbags is something that makes me happy and not to give me a lot of grief about it. I get maybe two a year, and they are EUC, not even new.

Mine is to stop being wasteful on bad quality bags. I'm looking for a "once and for all" work bag I can use for eons. I don't have a giant collection but the ones used as the daily workhorse have all been zeros thus far.

To buy more classic styles rather than seasonal ones. I'm approaching 30, time to grow up.

Also aiming for my first Hermès bag, currently only own smaller Hermès pieces.

I have started downsizing my bags due to frankly having purchased too many bags. I have committed to purchasing only 1 bag this year which I have already done. The Gucci Nymphaea arrived today and she is a beauty. It will be hard for me not to buy another but I need to stop and keep it reasonable.

Hmm.:thinkin:

1) continue to refuse birkins & kellys.

2) continue to weigh every purchase against common sense mantra, "Ohm...would I feel comfortable wearing bag to buy toilet paper & dog food? And actual life stuff?"

3) continue to hose down my world with collonil waterstop--keeps me using bags fearlessly!

4) continue to avoid buying anything mulberry, until they fire Coca--& design around idea, "Would Paddington bear carry this bag for 5 years?"

5) keep bag # same--if add 1, purge 1

6) constantly flick through deadly ponies NZ site, lusting after grey deerskin bags--but refusing to commit.

7) allow dog to nose my hermes leather--just get it over with, prove collonil works & move on.

8) possibly, with wild abandon to sparkly nonsense, overdo 2017 bag charm purchases--undecided.

9) not take anything read on tpf too seriously
