I don't have the pic, no... but it was in one of the Oct/Nov 2007 issues of Life & Style, where they show the celebrity with the bag, and then where you can get it for cheaper. Black motorcycle - made my heart pound :heart:

I've never wanted a purse because a celebrity has one . . . but when I was 15 my aunt gave me a sweater for Christmas that I saw later on Maureen McCormick in an episode of the Brady Bunch (Marcia, Marcia, Marcia).

I was so thrilled.

Yes but of course I have to like the bag too! So I think it's more of a 'my favourite celebrity has the bag I like too!' rather than 'I'm gonna buy this bag because my favourite celebrity has it!' :)

Sometimes but not because someone I like is carrying it. Celebrities are walking billboards. If I see something I like that I didn't know about before I will get it. Magazines work the same way.

I don't much care who carries what--to me it's just entertainment. I carry Hermes and LV because I like them, not to be some VB clone. Plus, I carried Hermes before I ever heard of VB or Lilo.

YES it makes me want the bag about 100 times more. What gets on my nerves is that the celebs probably didnt even buy it but had it given to them to get photographed with. So the people who CAN actually afford to buy these bags dont even have to. :cursing:

It happened to me once - when I saw Scarlett Johannson in "Match Game" wearing Mulberry's Roxanne in oak -It looked so right - she carried it under her arm and with jeans and I think a white shirt - I had to have it!! I chased it all over the country. I got it and enjoyed the hell out of it - it wasn't off my arm for months. It wasn't because Scarlett was wearing it - it was because of the way the bag looked (although she was a wonderful model!!!)

i don't really look at pics of celebs but sometimes i see something on a celeb that i really like. usually it's more clothes or shoes i notice, but it could be on any tom, dick, or carrie bradshaw and i'd still notice it. on the other hand i do shy away from those things that become popular because "all the celebs have it". being jessica alba or whoever doesn't make ugg boots look better. apologies to those who like uggs.

It kind of goes wayward for me in most cases: I see a bag I like, then I start to kind of like the celebrity that holds it. Vanessa Hudgens is a good example. Normally, I wouldn't care for her, but I loved her bags, and have since come to see her in a better light.

However, there are a few celebs that hold/wear something that I come to love: Ashley Olsen is a good example of this.

Vanessa Minnillo (yes, she's pageanty, but I love that!) is probably the one that fits in a little bit with both: I do like her as is, but I also loved the bags that she carries --even without them being on her.

As a general rule, I wouldn't lust after a particular bag if I saw a celeb wearing or carrying it. One exception to this, is a dark green Fendi spy bag I saw Keira Knightley carrying, I didn't want it because she had it, but I desired it because it was beautiful and I would love to own one. I sometimes think that certain celebs can actually devalue a bag in terms of desirability.

For me, No I don't wish for a particular bag that some celebrity has... I like to admire their bags thats for sure! I wouldn't consider buying anything just to copy their style pursay... If I really like a style I might try to find a designer that has a similar bag to that style and buy it cheaper because I know that most of the designers that celebrities wear are WAY to expensive for me!

oh gosh, this is really embarrassing, but ever since I saw Mary kate Olsen carrying the Prada fringe bag, I just had to have it. *blush* Not only because of the girl of course, the bag is gorgeous , I really love it, and I probably would have bought it anyways.. But I have to admit that she was the one that put me on to it :amuse:
