I do. Perfect for BHDs

Headbands, hairbands (with scarf rings or without) 'Queen'-style, 'Spanish'-style, prairie-style (gavroche triangle knotted at the nape of the neck) covering a chignon, round a chignon, round a hat...:D

Hair should not be newly washed if you're worried about the silk sliding. Tie tight and use a couple of grips, they hardly move if you spend just a minute

Yes, on the bias as a band with a knot at the front - at the risk of showing my age here - like Clare Grogan if anyone remembers! Also cotton squares grip better than silk, I think how often you wash your hair makes a difference too - if you don't need to wash every day, day old hair seems to grip more.

Would have said never only a couple of weeks ago. However recently the weather was bitterly cold and I'd not put on a hat. In desperation I wrapped my GMsc round and round my head and you know, it looked quite good when I glanced in the shop windows.

Had been wearing the shawl in a diagonal fold around my neck. Put the thickest center part on my forehead, wrapped both ends at the same time in different directions & tucked in the ends. My hair was twisted in an knot on the top of my head, the reason for not wearing a hat, with a small H hair stick just kind of peaking out a bit at the top.

Will need to try it again. Although not sure if I could duplicate the look. Did it without a mirror sometimes a casual impulse is the best.

I do, mostly in summer. And I have a pixie cut. I tie it at the bach, but on the side and I let one side hang in in front of my shoulder and one at the back. I'm very pale and th colours of the scarf make my skin look better.

I use too much stuff on my hair to put my silk scarves anywhere near it. But I love the look and am considering trying it out on freshly washed hair before I do my usual lotions n' potions routine. I have a small afro so the scarf will definitely stay put! :p

I wear mine in the 'turban' and got the idea from H - it hides the awful bits of my growing out hair. I do have to retie it maybe a couple times over the day though

Love this. Very chic!

I wish I could pull this off but I look ridiculous with one on. I don't even look good in plain old headbands as it just doesn't work with my head or my hair. However, it looks great on the ladies in this thread :)

me either. It will never stay for a minute. With the wind and rain in my country, it would get ruined in no time too. However, our queen sport the headscarf look very well.

Are you in the UK? Yes, I have seen HRH sporting an H scarf on her head many times! I don't think she even uses hair pins to keep it in place. Her hair must be "grippy." LOL 🇬🇧

She wears it as a triangle fold tied under the chin like Audrey Hepburn. Always chic. The HS does make a good substitute or replacement for a hat, especially on windy days.

Not me, I can't carry it off. Already hv problem trying not to fidget with the scarf around my neck, I feel like an air hostess whenever I wear H silk....much prefer Cashmere.

I did

Also did use the 90x90 as a turban

love it. takes some guts to pull it off though i think. its very in your face even as a headband
