I'm sure your Speedy will handle the winter well.
I'm really impressed with my monogram business trolley. I stupidly forgot to put it in the car and left it on the driveway for a night.
It was still there (amazed!) when I got back; but it rained like crazy. It had fallen over and was full of water.
I sopped up as much as I could, and left it to dry.
It's perfect, and even the leather patina'd evenly, and looks great.
maybe the luggage canvas is hardier; but mine sure took a beating and you would never know it.

DE will beat the snow! but you see, I use my speedy B DA 25 everyday since last month, I took her to beach and everywhere I go. I try not to be tortured with the bag I love and use as long as I dont have to put her on the floor. We just have to enjoy our speedy more. Japanese abuse their coated canvas LVs because of their durability :) Enjoy your baby to the max! :)

I am looking for input for an everyday bag for winter weather? I ask because I'm a true Monogram lover but I miss carrying an LV in inclement weather-which here can be often! I have an Artsy, Lockit MM, Speedy 35, Tivoli and a Retiro. ALL IN MONOGRAM. What does TPF recommend? :shrugs::tpfrox::shrugs::shrugs::shrugs:
