I first tried on a pair of Chanel flats (smooth leather) at Nieman's in size 36. They slipped off when I walked. So I walked just a few stores down to the Chanel boutique and tried on size 36 in the quilted flats. They didn't slip off, but were a little too tight in the toe. I bought them because the leather stretches. So I found that even the Chanel flats vary in fit, depending on the style.

I was reading your post and was like wait, it's the same as Friendship heights, and then saw you location LOL #Neighbors
I'm wondering about boots sizes though, I guess I'll just buy it and I can return if the fit is not right.

How is the sizing for the Chanel slingbacks? I'm looking to purchase a pair but I'm not sure if I should take a 39 or 39.5 :( I don't know how they fit because I live in the Philippines and there isn't a Chanel store in my country.

For reference, I wear a 39C for the beige with black captoe leather ballerina flats.

I wear a size 9 and bought a 40.5 in the quilted flats. They were snug. :smile1:

Hi,

I find the sizing for Chanel shoes to be very consistent (and I have a wide foot so shoe shopping is often troublesome for me).

The only discrepancy is boots and perhaps 1 of a kind runway shoes. All my Chanel boots are 1/2 size bigger as they run slightly smaller in size. You may also find that the sizing may vary with runway type shoes that Chanel may for a 1 off collection e.g. the Middle Eastern slippers I purchased from cruise Dubai ran large and I had to go a full size down.

Otherwise, flats, sandals, sneakers, espadrilles, flats etc. should be sized similarly.

The sizings for Chanel shoes is very inconsistent. I tried on a pair of 7 in the flats and they were a little tight. So I sized up half sizer but for some reason that one fits even small than the 7, but when they took out another 7.5, that one was way too loose. Even the SA mentioned sometimes people would try on a couple pair to find the perfect fit.

Two different Chanel SAs told me Chanel changes the lasts on shoes every year-so you have to try them all on even if you bought one style last year and want the same thing in another color today. The toe box has gotten lower on the Ballerina style, for example.

Do Chanel sneakers run true to size or still a bit narrow/small? I wear a size US 9.5 or sometimes 9, but I have wide feet and obviously would need room for socks, so I'm wondering if it'd be ok to size up to size 40-40.5?

(Sorry for bumping an older thread, but I figured it'd be better to post in a long-lasting thread rather than starting a new one just for this!)

I have one pair flats in distressed leather and that was very much true to size, but then I bought one pair in patent in the same size and they turned out to be too small......So I would say for leather types that do not stretch, go for half a size up.

I was in Chanel store in Bond street London with my friend around a month ago because she wanted to buy a pair of flats and we learned that even the same style same size would fit differently! I have no clue why but she tried various styles and sizes and she said that two pair flats in the same model size 37 fit differently. I guess you can only try to find out......quite bizzare for people ordering through phones!
