Do Chanel shoes run true to size?

I think it depends on where you live. When I was in Hong Kong, I could not buy a shoe because they never bought or rarely bought my size (Euro size39) .. so I would get them in Singapore or now in New York (US size 9) I find plenty of my size at Bloomies or Saks ...

they FOR SURE run small! at least 1/2 a size up from what you usually wear, sometimes one whole size! it seems this year's batch is running smaller than usual. get at least an 8-1/2 if its an open-backed mule; if its a pump or a unsquishy leather slipper, don't be surprised if a 9! i wear a 6-1/2 or 7 normally and had to take an 8 in the lucite ballet slippers.........

LV is more true to size.....so is Gucci, Blahniks run small too but Chanel runs the smallest. hope this helps!!!!:flowers:

Good to know ladies. Thanks. I don't have wide feet. Mine are normal. Would you like pics? LOL
I think I'm going to go with a half size up, if I order them before I get to try some on.
I'm going back to the states in a month, and I'm stopping by Chanel and Saks during my months' stay. :graucho::wlae:

Hi!!

I am looking into this pair of ballet flats on ebay- they are a 38 and seller says fits a 7-7.5, I usually wear size 7.8 to a 8 in all other shoes (except cl's I'm a 38.5) Do you think they will fit? How do they usually run?

:heart:Thanks so much:heart:

Actually there was a thread about this a few months ago. Some people were going up a few sizes and some were going down. Different styles, different rules. I have 2 different style ballet flats and one is a 38 and the other is a 39, and I'm a size 7 1/2 US! So, unless you can try them on someplace, I'd pass.

It depends, not only on your shoe size, but the width of your feet. If you wear a size 7.5-8 and your feet are a little wide, you might even need a 39. See if you can try on a pair for sizing before you commit to a pair.
