Ir. Nothing I said was a “judgement” in any way shape or form. It was my personal observations based off geographical locations in urban areas, your observations may be different, so please ask questions prior to throwing out accusations at people.
That’s a great question! I frequent NYC and NJ and those particular urban areas of NYC and NJ is where I see that brand pop up. Louis Vuitton, by comparison is very popular in those areas as well as well as throughout the entire metropolitan area. It has a much more broad audience. MCM happens to be seen, by me, mostly in those areas. LV footwear, more specifically sneakers happens to be quite popular in Harlem as well. They even produce a sneaker called “the Harlem”. Are there any other passive aggressive insinuations masked as “questions” that you would like to ask?Okay, I have a question. New York City is the large urban area in that geo location, yet you called out Newark and Harlem as "Urban." Not NYC. Why is that?
Yeah ....you are totally being judgemental, and racist, and sexist, and classist. That’s a great question! LeBron James walked into the arena the other night with a goyard toiletry case..does that somehow devalue the brand? He fits the same demographic as the people you are saying you see in Harlem.
That’s exactly what yours, and the saggy pants comments are insinuating about MCM.
“Urban” kids are drawn to luxury belts, backpacks, and sneakers. Of course you are going to see them in “urban” areas.
I’ve never walked into any luxury goods store, regardless of brand and not seen your definition of ‘urban’ people looking at belts and wallets. It has nothing to do with a perceived value or audience of a particular brand.
I see plenty of young girls wearing chanel eyeglass frames that work at Cinnabon and drive civics..does thy somehow make Chanel trash too?
You missed the whole point of what I was saying.
I guess you haven’t been to Harlem recently. It is a diverse community of different incomes, ethnicities, and fashion styles. From my personal observations, this is a place where I see MCM pop up; nothing more, nothing less. Your comment about Lebron James using a Goyard gave me the impression that you assumed I was referencing the African American community when I wasn’t. FYI, believe it or not, there are people who wear baggy pants outside of the African American community, in all different classes, male or female. I’m not going to get into a “race card” conversation with you or anybody else on this forum. Before you throw out malicious labels and accusations at me, or anyone else you encounter in life, please have concrete facts to back up your claims, and don’t use stereotypes about people or races to make your point, because then it’s you that looks like the racist.
Yes, totally an error on my part. I just quoted the entire section. My apologies!!Hmm just wondering why you quited me tooMust’ve been an error on your part.

And you’re example of Newark? You’re trying to tell me the brick city is is a gentrified, ‘diverse community of different incomes, ethnicities and fashion styles’?I guess you haven’t been to Harlem recently.
