Neither my local Walgreens nor CVS nor Rite-Aid carry any of the new colors either. I think it's a poor decision.
I agree. They could definitely make more money by selling the new summer colors. It doesn't make sense because the drugstores & Walmart have really expanded & added extra lighting to their nail polish sections. I don't want to buy fall/winter colors at this time of year.

Well, some of the colors do work for spring-summer. Pink Daisy and Kitten Heels work very well in warm weather, also Coral Sunset. Blue Yonder is a good navy that works any time of year.

I'm pretty annoyed about the poor stock on the SOGs, but hopefully as they gain in popularity, there will be more stock in the stores.
I like that I can actually look at them. I ordered an Ink & IBD from Internet pictures & have been disappointed when I got them & saw what the really look like. Eventually I will need to get involved with the exchange.

Those are really pretty, makes me want to try stamping again. My last few trys didn't go very well.

I know I'm late to the party but Baby Doll Pink is what comes in Sensationails sheer pink french kit. It's a shade lighter than pink chiffon, much sheerer and it's available separately. I like it better than Red Carpet Manicures camera shy or nervous with anticipation because it has more color to it. However my favorite pink for a french manicure so far is Red Carpets I simply love your nails. As far as creating a smile line goes I find using a brush dipped in alcohol to clean up my messy/uneven line much easier than using guides. I have also heard (on Sensationails UK facebook page) that they are coming out with a new white polish fairly soon. Crystal avalanche and wedding pearl are almost white but not truly white.

On another note removal is much easier if you don't use the primer at all. I only use it on the tip of my right thumb. You may also want to try using regular clear polish under the gel polish base coat. That makes removal very easy but reduces wear time by a few days. Hope that helps.

Do you know why removal is easier without the primer. I love how it lasts but WOW last night it took hours to get it off. I have used it once before and removal wasn't easy bit not like this. Just to help I know how to remove correctly and for comparison have had gel polish done at salon and was able to easily remove at home.

I have sensational nailene kit. I was thinking about the sally hansen kit. Anyone have experience with both??? THANK YOU

I've had removal problems with SensatioNail base, too, but this last one wasn't too bad. I really, really buffed the top coat off (I stamp, so I had two coats of top to buff), then washed A LOT of dishes! The polish actually started to just peel off. I had primer, but just a tiny bit capping the free edges.

The easy removal could have been just a coincidence, I didn't get the best wear this time.

Anyway, I have the OPI base coming in the mail (hopefully today!!!) so I (hopefully) won't be using SensatioNail for the base anymore.

The bonder acts like a glue creates a better surface for the foundation to adhere too. Most of us only use it on the tips of troubled nails because it can make removals much worse.

Sensationals primer has a bonding agent in it (ethyl acetate, ethyl tosylamide, butyl acetate, acrylates copolymer, dipropylene glycol, dibenoate, n.n-diethyl-p toluidine, violet 2) that helps the base coat adhear to the natural nail. It feals sticky when dry and in most cases sticks like supperglue so I only use it sparingly on the tips of problem nails if at all. The only other comleate line that I've tryed is RCM. Their primer is just isoprpyl alcohol, ethyl acetate and isobutyl acetate. I think it just removes any residual oils and dehydrates the nail. It dosen't feel sticky at all and I haven't had any of the removal issues that occur with sensationails primmer when I use it. I plan on trying the OPI base when I run out of my RCM base.

I have been to 3 Walgreens and only one had the new colors. I went to 2 CVS's and one doesn't even carry the Sensational and the other didn't have any new colors. Walmart still doesn't have any new colors. Is it because of Sensational or the stores that the new colors don't get marketed very much (that is mostly meant as a rhetorical question since we wouldn't know why)?

I'd love to be able to get the new summer colors but Walmart doesn't carry them and none of the stores that do are near by. In retail each corporation decides wether or not to sell particular products by certain manufactuers. Then it is up to the local store manager or in some cases distric manager which colors of that product to order for sale in his/her store/stores. For instane the Walmart near me only carrys a few of the colors from the new line but the Walmart on the other side of town carrys almost all of them. In the case of the new summer colors Walmart corporation chose not to feture the limited edition summer colors but Walgreens and CVS did. If the Walgreens or CVS stores in your location don't carry the summer line its becaue the manager in charge of ordering beauty products for that store chose not to carry them in that store. I hope that helps to explain it and that you are able to find the colors you want soon.

All I can say is they are stupid. All three chains have really expanded & modernized (i.e. added lighting, etc) their nail polish depts yet they don't keep up with all the new products.

So the OPI base coat I bought on eBay arrived today...

THE BOTTLE WAS EMPTY!!!:sad::cry::crybaby:

Not "it leaked out in the package" empty, but "she sent an empty bottle" empty!

So I entered a problem report with eBay saying that the bottle was empty with residue around the neck, but none in the packaging and she wrote back, and I quote: "It was new & sealed. Your lying." OUCH!!!
