#1. The price depends on the leather (normal leather is approx 8-10k, exotic around 50k), style (retourne vs. sellier), hardware. You can find current prices updated here:

#2. Due to limited amount of bags against demand, they are commonly not available to walk in customers. You have to be put on a waitlist, and/or become a frequent customer/VIP of the store.

#3. The wait depends, from a few months to 2 years even.

#4. When you get "the call" from the store, you come in, check it out. If you decide to pick it up then you pay for it. There's no deposit.

#5. Depending on the leather, some are more durable than the others to the elements (eg. some leather will blister in the rain), but H bag will last beautifully for decades if taken care of. Check out the reference section of the forum. Once in a while if need be you can send your bag on a spa (cost a few hundreds).

EDIT: there are lots and lots of information on this forum so keep reading. Good luck on finding your dream bag!

Hi I'm new to the forum and I hope I am posting in the right place. If not, please forgive me and direct me to the correct spot.

I went to the Hermes store in Highland Park Village in Dallas last month and checked out the hallmarks on the new enamel bracelets so I could make sure I knew what they looked like. A couple statements and questions:
1) The new enamel bracelets (caleche and printed) no longer say "Made in Austria". They are blank. The clerk told me they aren't making them in Austria any more. (In fact, they are probably now made in a country they don't want to mark on the bracelets.)
2) Does anyone know if the enamel bracelets on the secondary market marked "Made in France" are ok? I think the clerk said they made them in France for a short time but can't remember for sure.
3) The new marks on the Clic Clac look exactly like the marks on a replica site - exactly the same. This is disturbing. The replicas are more shoddy of course and the enamel doesn't fit into the frame as closely, but they look pretty exact on Internet photos. Any comments on this?

Thank you!
Did you ever get an answer to this? I was wondering the same thing for the Enamel H bracelet

Hello,
I would like to ask, if anyone knows about year stamps on the Hermes enamel bracelets. Those seem to be different than on the leather goods. For example, on some bracelets I have just a letter and in some +a letter.
Could anyone help with the chart or something?

i cant seem to find any threads regarding the lock and keys engraving numbers anywhere. i know they print the numbers under the lock differently in diffrenet years,,it is also in lighter print and deeper anyone??? thanks
