Diamond studs - sizing help

I went with a little over 1.5 total. I'm still going back and forth though!!! So indecisive.
They do. I wouldn't skimp on that lol it's hard. I often get weird comments over my ring which at almost 3 carats isn't huge on these boards but in my area/career it is considered big. I've even stopped taking my nicer bags to work. And by nicer I mean a Michael kors tote. I wouldn't dare take my LVs to work!!
Frankly speaking diamond stud earrings size should must be with in that size which suits to your ear. I have just selected one set of diamond stud earrings for my daughter, I liked one best thing is that it's size is not too big and it is with in her ear size. My husbands thinks, a lady is not competely equipped, without having a pair of diamond studs in her collection.
I am not necessarily a big fan of studs, I find them rather boring, but I agree, for some formal events, studs are an appropriate choice. Now I come to my question: What seems to be an appropriate size for that occasion? As he is thinking about a size of 3.00ct or more, I would see a size of more than 2.00ct inappropriate for formal events and invitations. Which size should I put on my wishlist?

I love 2ctw, but if he’s willing to go up to 3ctw then I say, go for it. Run not walk!
Larger is never inappropriate. But honestly if you don’t love studs, why bother? Mine are just under a carat each. I wear every day. My friend just got diamond hoops which are stunning. Not circular round ones, more oval. I think hers were 3 carats. Great for dress up or everyday. The only way you’ll know what you like is if you go try. Good luck.

I think you have to try it on as it’s not just about the size, you have to consider the other “c’s” of the diamond too. I have a rather tiny earlobe and face so anything more than 1.5 carats on me tend to look obnoxious, so I go more for the clarity and cut. But I like your husband’s proposal too, lol!
